How do you speed up and slow down the effects of tools with other tools? I want to learn how to do this. Anybody?

I believe you're talking about changing the speeds of things, correct? If so, you need to use magnetic key switches and the "speed" setting The closer the key switch, the faster the movement of whatever its hooked up to. You can also use this setting to adjust the brightness of lighting. If you can be more specific as to what you want to do, we can be more specific as to how to do it ;D

You're not alone, I'm not exactly sure what he meant either. If you mean speeding up and slowing down pistons and other tools, then you can do it by setting the output to "Speed" on a proximity switch/magnetic switch/etc. For example, to make something speed up, you would place a magnetic key on a block of wood and attach it to a piston. Somewhere nearby, there would be a magnetic key switch attached to a the object you want to have a variable speed, and it would be set to "Speed". The block of wood attached to the piston would slowly get closer to the magnetic key switch, causing the other object to speed up.

well like we both answered, you use switches set up to speed. Using mag switches and pistons allows you to choose when and how much the speed changes.

If you havent already you should try playing the tuitorials in create mode, they give demos and instructions on each switch type and mode. As was said above you put the switch on the speed mode (the one with the picture of the speedomter). What this means is what ever contdition triggers the switch will increase the speed instead of just turning it on or off. so if you have a sensor attached to a motor bolt the bolt will go faster the closer a sackperson is to the sensor. The speed setting on the switch is what you want the maximum speed to be.
