It's by M. Night Shamalan or whatever his name is. Don't get your hopes up. I did think the show was sweet. Stopped watching when he got hair, though. AND THE AIR BENDER IS ACTUALLY A FLYING BISON!

O_o. I see... Watched first season, then stopped... I knew something about a movie, but couldn't be called Avatar because some other movie took that name... no idea it would xist, let alone live action... kinda weird.

It looks quite good, and M. Night Shamalan will definitely make it MUCH different from the TV series, as he is known to make very dark movies. I thought that Avatar was going to be it, but then I saw it wasn't, and thought there wasn't going to be one.

Oh no... This is probab;ly gonna suck as bad as that "Dragon Ball Evolution" movie. (Man that movie suuuuuckwed >_<) sales dropped more than 80% by the 2nd/3rd week after release (Yes that bad) not that they were high to begin with. If you haven't watched it, Stay away from it! you'll reggrett it if you don't.... Or like that Street Fighter movie it was something about Chun-Li i think, man that movie sucked as well. Altho it kinda makes sense, they already made a really bad movie based on an anime, a really bad one based on a video game, and now they had to make a really bad one based on a cartoon. A waste of money from the producers and the viewers alike if you ask me...

ha i loved that show, i sortof dissagreed with the ending though (it was a bit lame to me) as for the movie? it doesnt seem like the kind of concept that will translate well but you never know
