Hi . I've played your level and here is my feedback

Pros :
Great story and narrative kept my interest and left me wanting more

Nice design overall and good use of decorations

Fun enemies. I like the spears and the arrows

Nicely designed zipline section

Fun to play

Cons :
The part going down the slope where there are quite a few enemies was good until I got burnt once and lost my paintinator. I didn't want to backtrack all the way up the slope to get another so ended up having to jump and avoid the enemies as best I could.

The boat at the end kept going without me as it moved away as soon as I tried to jump in which meant I fell in the gas a few times.

That and the elevator in an earlier section which came down on top of me and crushed me made it impossible to ace which is annoying as I did nothing wrong.

Overall :
Very enjoyable level and series as a whole so far, only marred by those little niggles.

Thanks mistervista. I appreciate your feedback. I have now added a few more paintinator points, as well added a 3 second pause to the boat at the end. As for the elevator you just have to dodge it. there is space to do so. Thanks again for the input.2009-06-25 00:29:00

This was a fun level to play with a group. Well, if you like leaving people behind.... lol

It's a cute level and I do love your native characters throwing spears - really nice enemy design there. No real cons I could find.

I rated it 4 stars and hearted it Thanks for sharing it!

Not essentially looking for feedback on any of my older levels but CS4 will be out in a week or so. Check it out if you're so inclined. I don't do F4F strictly speaking but I gladly welcome comments 2009-06-27 00:42:00

Alright just played your level, gave it 4 stars.

It was cute and had that fun campy feel to it but there is one big pet peve about it. The worst things you can do when making a level with enemies is make them out of dissolve material and consider them dissovled as being "dead".

What I mean is the enemies were a joke, when they actually were decently designed but it was kind of an insult to give them at the end of the level.

A simple fix is simply to turn your paint switch to a one shot and get this, you can add that switch to their brains. Thats how you make "real" enemies.

Other than that the atmosphere was good. You should try getting rid of some of the joint lines you had, there really wasn't an excuse for those to be there when the rest of the level was so good.

And one note, the zip line pit with the arrows was a nice touch

Thank you. When making my enemies I had issues with it. But I'll remember that for next time. I just tried modifiying them and when the switch was set to one-shot they did not follow the player. Then what to do I do? Also I was getting the "you can not make this shape anymore complicated" message and thats why the joint lines are there. That is what you are referring to correct. But thank you again2009-06-27 12:57:00

That complication can probably be fixed if you just make one huge section and and past over it. It happens a lot especially with the corner tool (even though you can cut out more complex shapes )

and if your enemies are hella glitching on you I could just remake them for you, they seem pretty easy it would only take me like 3 minutes max

You can remake them if you would like, but you don't have to by any means. I am happy with them. You still get points when you kill them. But it's really up to you. The joints I can fix a few which I have but others it would require complete reworks of areas so I am not going to worry about those too much. But its your call on the enemies.2009-06-27 20:24:00
