California, NorCal has been above 95 degrees for the past couple of weeks if the fat sign outside Bank of America is right.. I'd kill for a cool breeze so I can actually go out and chill or skate without feeling like I need a drink.2008-09-04 08:12:00

You lot seriously know nothing about heat.
35 degrees Celsius is no where near "hot".

Try between 45-50 degrees... now that's hot.
And that's been the average this summer.

(113 -122 degrees Fahrenheit)

Now that's what I call a summer... '>_<

I agree actualy, went to spain and it was like in the high 30's I think, and I didn't actualy find it that hot.. could bear it alright. I think its because when I was in my old room it was like an oven all the time, and I had to bear it there for like, 4 years. Gotten used to that sort of heat. I also have a brother-in-law from South Africa and he was cold during one of our (UK's) Heatwaves, two summers ago.

It is dry and hot here. Uncomfortably hot. About 103 degrees Fahrenheit(about 40 degrees Celsius), to be exact. In the winter, it gets down to about 20 degrees Fahrenheit(about -7 degrees Celsius), which I prefer. It rains tons in the winter here, and even though it never snows(see below), I still love the cold.

It doesn't snow here because I live in a giant geographical bowl. During the summer, the heat does not go away because it gets stuck in the "bowl" and doesn't leave. Once the cold air(which is more dense than hot air, and thus, heavier) comes in, it sweeps all the hot air out and settles in for winter. It doesn't leave until the spring, at which point it gets really windy and the warm wind blows out all the cold air. During the winter, the reason it doesn't snow (even though it is below freezing) is simple: over the cold air(above the rim of the "bowl") is warmer air, which, when it rains, limits the time the water has to freeze before it hits the ground. Rarely does the rain travel through enough cold air to snow. Most of the time, our grass is just frozen solid instead.

wow heat sucks like that, it reminds me of Turkey, it was so HOT there. Utah is nice because we have variety of weather, and you can just drive anywhere in Utah to get something new. Like to snowboard drive to Park City, like some heat drive down south for some arches and red rocks, and do some mountain biking.2008-09-06 05:01:00
