LBP PSP version who is really interested

Archive: 10 posts

I was just wondering how many of you are really interested in getting the PSP version of LBP.

Its cool there making a PSP version, but thinking about it i dont really think i will want it becuase i dont think the PSP will provide a good place to design levels becuase:

1) the screen is tiny
2) the psp itself is not comfertable to hold for a long period of time
3) the analog stick blows
4) If i have enough freetime to work on a level i will most likely be at home, so why would i want to want to work on levels in an inferior atmosphere then on the PS3 version
5) it take a long period of time to create a nice level, thus emphisizing 1-4

Well those are my thoughts. I would have rather seen a PSP version that simply links into the current LBP and access that user made content. For these reason i dont think the userbased content will be as exciting as on PS3.

It's all going to depend on how it gets done. For me, if the create mode is right then this will be a must-buy. It's going to be hard but I can't wait to see what they come up with 2009-06-22 18:33:00

I'm pretty excited about it. Hopefully the create mode and community will be around as good as the PS3 game.2009-06-22 18:42:00

if i hear good things about the community levels i will probably go for it but i have to go for it after its been out a while. If you have the abililty to download and save levels so you can set up a play list while you dont have internet conection, i think it will be pretty good. I just have worry that the only place i would really play it would be at home where the internet conection is. I really only use my psp in the car so if i cant take levels on the go, i see it as kinda limiting.

I am very excited about it. Though that may be because I'll actually be able to go online with it regularly, whereas my ps3 is stuck internetless since I cannot easily bring it with me anywhere.2009-06-23 14:54:00

I'll be buying it but I have the same concerns about create mode as deboerdave. I certainly can`t see me spending the same amount of time creating on the PSP as I have on the PS3.

I`m really hoping that you can create on PS3 then play on the PSP, but that`s looking very unlikely, so we`ll just have to see how it goes.

It sounds really painful trying to develop a level on a PSP. PLAYING levels is a totally different thing - I would probably buy the game just to play content.

If you could create levels on the PS3 and play them on the PSP it would be an absolute killer title - but I know this is probably hoping for too much.

i'm hella excited. if it links up well with community level it could be the perfect travel companion, becuase everytime you put it in you could potentially have access to hundreds of new level.

I'm just a but gutted it hasn't come out in time for my holiday to spain.
