I played it tonight and it's super cute! I know not exactly what you want to hear on a pirate level but it is and it's really fun too.

I have to say - everything worked really well here and I didn't have any problems. Your ships are nicely decorated and the material usage was good too. The caves are also nicely designed and I like all the little scenes with the other pirates. The plot is solid and interesting but not terribly complicated which is good for a level like this one. I wouldn't say it's hard to complete but that's not a problem in my opinion.

I didn't see anything wrong with it and I think players new to the game or with moderate skills will find it fun and a bit challenging. Nice to have levels for this type of player and you make them very well.

I gave it 4 stars and tagged it cute. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Just let me know if you would like some feed back too.Oh and about the cute thing I'm fine with that I think its pretty obvious I'm not exactly going for a hardcore gritty pirate level, But more of a style of cartoon fun pirates. But soon I will be releasing part 2 so hopefully my creating skills have improved and you will enjoy that one just as much. Thanks again.

Played this earlier and thought it was a great fun level with nice design and interesting and humorous narrative.

The only con for me was I found it a bit too dark in the last section. Apart from the fact I like to see what to do and where to go, I also like to admire the scenery and design. It's a shame to make an effort with your building and then hide it from view.

I enjoyed it very much overall though and look forward to your next level. ( Did I read it was due out this Wednesday ? )

If you want to give feedback on my new Sheriff Sack level that would be great. Thanks.

I'm a sucker for Pirate levels and I really liked this one. It is super cute, no two ways about it. And it`s all the better for it.

There were only two things that bothered me. 1 more so than the other.

- The first and lesser of the two was at the bit where the boat gets bombed. The checkpoint getting moved while still onscreen gives away that something it going to happen. Can you maybe move it, hide the chain, delay it or add in a camera angle so that when it heads off you can`t see it?

- The other one is that the level ends on such a flat note. After making my way through beautiful caverns and across seas, the level finishes with a fetch quest. There`s no reward for making it through. I always think that there should be something at the end of the level that works as a pay off. Whether it`s a big wide angled view of something nice, a joke, a boss or just a cool obstacle. Players should leave the level on a high.

This level finishes by collecting two sponge balls from a tree. My personal opinion is that you shouldn`t really make players perform a task more than once, as they get bored. It took me a few attempts to get up the tree due to the darkness and I have to say that it made sure that I left the level on a downer.

It didn`t stop me giving you 5 stars and a heart though because I thought the level was excellent, but I think it`s something to bear in mind for the future.

Played this earlier today, love pirate levels. Not so great with leaving feedback so this may not sound the best but the level had a well told story, didn't play part 2 yet so I'll have to try tomorrow. nice environments with some added detail but I have to ask, Why was the sky made of dark matter? Anyway I liked how you had made it seem like to drifted ashore with your wrecked boat. I didn't have problems with lighting, you may have fixed that before I played though, but I did have problems with the rope swings as they were to close together but other than that it was an excellent level. Over all I gave it 4 stars and hearted.2009-06-25 07:19:00
