I'm going to try and create a working computer in Little Big Planet. Not the kind that adds, but the kind with programs (duh + lol). I realize this has been attempted a lot, and there aren't very many good levels about this. Here are some main questions I want to know your answer to: 1. Should I attempt a cursor? 2. Should the computer show up a new screen using emitters, or a completely new idea I had which I'm not going to explain 3. What programs should the computer have? 4. Are you willing to help me if I come across any problems (I'm a bit new to creating, but not that new. I do have only one published level which stinks because I never put any effort into it, but all my other levels use lots of detail. Uh. Yea, so those are the questions that I need answered. Thanks in advance!

I'm a bit new to creating Well, good luck then. This is a tall order, and I don't even think it's going to be possible to make several programs without it overheating, unless your programs are of the 'pong' variety.

I'd be very impressed if you programmed Pong onto a programmable device in LBP. Creating a Pong game physically in LBP would be a lot more doable... Good luck with this project.

Hmm...I see what you mean. I'm talking about simple programs. I've seen pong levels, and I couldn't do it. My computer would overheat. I'm talking about simple programs. Maybe a small word processing program, I think I could manage a Paint Program, and maybe an internet program with simulated websites (lbpcentral.com being one of them). I could have a "Swarm" program. Any other ideas for programs?

I could have a "Swarm" program. Any other ideas for programs? I would think that Pong would be much easier than a small word processing program, and a paint program. Fitting an entire "keyboard-esque" item on the screen and programming it would be a nightmare, but I can see it being done, if not terribly hard to use. Maybe a piece of dark matter with little pieces of sponge with grab switches labeled A-Z and numbers. That's without bothering for mechanics for shift and enter. Programing a cursor to move after every letter could be done with a piston, but its still going to be a lot of work, because you might need a 26 or more way OR switch. Honestly, I think this is just too big of a concept for anyone to make in LBP.
