Tell me what you think | 2009-06-18 07:16:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |

... i could have some feedback... :O | 2009-06-18 18:16:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
It looks really cool, but perhaps if the character's colour contrasted to the background. Other than that, awesome drawing (also top marks on lesson productivity ) and awesome sig. | 2009-06-18 19:11:00 Author: dawesbr Posts: 3280 |
yeah indeed it raises my grades ... i was thinking about increasing the contrast with the character and the background yeh :/ | 2009-06-18 19:19:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
I think it's quite cool. Give that avatar a red tint and I think you have yourself a new signature! | 2009-06-18 19:27:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
cool... try a drop shadow on the duder. | 2009-06-18 19:28:00 Author: Gravel Posts: 1308 |
think this is better? (changed contrast with background) before http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Signature.png after http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Signature2.png Yeh... i'll try dropshadow... but that way the character coul look like it's flat.. :O Edit... wait O.o i just saw that (maybe) the character itself has also changed color >_< man i suck xD | 2009-06-18 19:33:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
what about this one? i can't decide!!! xD http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Signature3.png | 2009-06-18 19:58:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
what about this one? i can't decide!!! xD http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Signature3.png Good but the blood on the axe isn't showing on the shadow. | 2009-06-18 20:05:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |
that's the problem... the blood on the floor can't have a shadow.... If you think about it... the blood is actually not really good drawn, because it should be way flatter... anywayssss!!!! bananaz | 2009-06-18 20:12:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |

If you think about it... the blood is actually not really good drawn, because it should be way flatter... anywayssss!!!! bananaz Not talking about the blood on the floor, the blood on the axe is dripping off, but in the shadow it just shows the axe, no blood. | 2009-06-18 20:15:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |
sorry... i just realized that... The blood on the axe should be visible, it's just hard to see because of the back ground and the shadow is slightly blurred | 2009-06-18 20:16:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
sorry... i just realized that... The blood on the axe should be visible, it's just hard to see because of the back ground and the shadow is slightly blurred Wouldn't make much of a difference, I just wanted to point it out, looks great anyways. | 2009-06-18 20:20:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |
thanks... I think the 2nd sig in post #8 is teh best so far. what do you think? | 2009-06-18 20:21:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Yeah, looks better without the shadow. You really should use this as your new sig. What lesson did you draw it in? | 2009-06-18 20:45:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
at maths... or mathematics or math... ughh whatever. maybe i should make a fitting avatar :O | 2009-06-18 21:38:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
That looks nice. I like the darkest one the most. It'd be very fitting for a new sig! | 2009-06-19 21:53:00 Author: lk9988 Posts: 1077 |
Guys... i made new one today! Here's the original: http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Hunter2-1.jpg So i tried to make this sword: (actually the first time I copy something... ) http://www.9lives.be/files/images/packshots/large/5201-6.jpg Just because the sword is the most awesomestest evah! :arg: So here it is!! :3 http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Hunter_Signature.png I could make a whole sig cycle with these dudes xD Edit: ... i just noticed that the shadow of the blood looks cut off... at the bottom :/ | 2009-06-20 15:58:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Yeah, the shadow has cut off, but man, that looks awesome! (Rathalos greatsword?) | 2009-06-20 16:23:00 Author: dawesbr Posts: 3280 |
i don't know what sword it is because Monster hunter freedom unite is going to be my first Monster Hunter! xD | 2009-06-20 16:31:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
You should make a game about them. Nice little RPG. I think they both look great. Not sure what avvie you could have with the second one though. | 2009-06-20 17:00:00 Author: moleynator Posts: 2914 |
maybe i could do the text vertical on the second one :O... may look cool. | 2009-06-20 18:29:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
That's sweet Yarbone. | 2009-06-20 18:30:00 Author: Code1337 Posts: 3476 |
http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Hunter_Signature2.png this one is with vertical text. Lol... i keep posting different versions | 2009-06-20 19:21:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
I think vertical text for the second one looks better. It looks pure awesome as well. | 2009-06-20 22:46:00 Author: lk9988 Posts: 1077 |
I think vertical text for the second one looks better. It looks pure awesome as well. Completely agree! Vertical fits better. | 2009-06-21 00:54:00 Author: moleynator Posts: 2914 |
Wow these are awesome! I remember your first war dude in the war themed SOTW contest. These are just way too cool. I like the last one the best but the text needs to be polished a bit. The letter's boxes don't all line up, and it had more contrast when it was vertical. Just an observation, still amazing work as always Yarbone, what do you have in mind for the avatar? | 2009-06-21 02:14:00 Author: LuckyShot Posts: 713 |

Just an observation, still amazing work as always Yarbone, what do you have in mind for the avatar? yeh... lol, i knew that, but i didn't really feel like re-doing those letters. I thought nobody would notice xD lol And for the avatar... i though maybe just a red square with an outline, dropshadow and the text blocks in it. Just so it fits with every signature I think vertical text for the second one looks better. It looks pure awesome as well. I think you meant to say FULLY AWESOME! I'm currently working on another one! ===================================== EDIT: Here it is http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Deathscythe_Signature.png and i've made an avatar :O http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude_Avatar.png I thought i'd better not post the original this time because there's a dead dude laying on the ground with his guts all over the floor >_< so yeh :/ | 2009-06-21 07:16:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Hey for the avatar, it should just be the Y block, and the bottom of it should be dripping blood... imho God I really love these sigs though! | 2009-06-21 17:35:00 Author: LuckyShot Posts: 713 |
It's people like you that make me wish I could draw. | 2009-06-21 18:20:00 Author: moleynator Posts: 2914 |

Yeh... i was thinking of doing something similar... The blood is an important factor with these sigs, and just a Y could be pretty awesome yeah. and thanks Moley | 2009-06-21 18:26:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
those are definitely.... well kind of creepy to be honest haha! But it's really cool that you drew it and then made that into a sig! You have a lot of dedication | 2009-06-23 20:19:00 Author: GrahamLif3 Posts: 386 |
yeah... they're creepy indeed. But i think they're creepy in a good way I'm planning to make one with a giant Hammer too. So be prepared! >=] | 2009-06-23 20:49:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
I've been watching this thread for a while... Nice work! I admire original artwork and you have a great cartoony style. My favourite so far is the scythe one you did last. I have a suggestion... The shadowing you've used goes around everything which, although it makes the image stand out from the transparency, doesn't really highlight the subject matter. How about cutting round the character with the weapon and making into a seperate layer. The background could have a slight shadow (maybe 2-3 pixels), and the character could have either more shadowing, or even none at all, which will mak it really stand out. In addition, you could increase the saturation of the character slightly more... Nice work!!! Oh.. just had another thought... Rather than trying to work out the shadow on the blood drips, why not have the blood drips falling onto an invisible platform at the bottom and trickling to the right?? Keep up the excellent work! | 2009-06-23 22:38:00 Author: Rhyfelwr Posts: 606 |
that's a good idea about the shadow.... I think i'll try that. Should be quite simple because it's already a seperate layer thanks for the tip. And i think i understand what you mean with the invisible platform, that's pretty epic :O I think I'll make a hammer version tomorrow and also try those effects you just mentioned. I first gotta have some sleep ... ~_____~ LOL btw... i kinda tried to increase the contrast between the character and the background by making a layer in front of the background layer with a circular gradient starting at the position of the character. white in the center to green to the outside. Then i put the layer on saturation. That way the color of the gradient didn't matter... i just wanted the background to be saturated in the middle and decreasing it's saturation going further outside. i hope you know what i mean >_< | 2009-06-23 23:07:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
You should make a sig cycle with these if that's possible. They're all awesome. | 2009-06-28 12:36:00 Author: lk9988 Posts: 1077 |
yeh... i'm still kinda working on some drawings. I made a hammer version yesterday. I can post it, but i'm not gonna put it in a sig. I totally failed >_< i'll post it later on today | 2009-07-01 09:43:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
TOTALLY use it! I love it! The cute little character wielding such a large and disproportionate weapon. I really like it. Also the colour scheme of this sig is nice too. :3:3:3:3:3. | 2009-07-01 10:17:00 Author: Unknown User |
thanks man! i'm gonna use those sigs... when i've got the hammer dude done i also made a cool avatar. but i'm on mah ps3 right now... xD | 2009-07-01 13:25:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Don't mind the background it's just about the image really :/ http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee357/Yarbone/MrWardude-MonsterHunter.png *major bump* | 2010-03-12 00:02:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Phwoar!!! Make that into a sig! He looks awesome! Not as cute, but still awesome! EDIT: After closer inspection, I realise I should have said "she" looks awesome. | 2010-03-12 18:01:00 Author: Leather-Monkey Posts: 2266 |
dude, it's supposed to look a bit cartoony... i won't draw his ...y'know | 2010-03-12 18:24:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
lol smack on some pants on that guy m8 drawing rocks btw | 2010-03-12 19:22:00 Author: rseah Posts: 2701 |
No man organs = he's not a man. Lol... | 2010-03-12 21:22:00 Author: Leather-Monkey Posts: 2266 |
... i'm not gonna change it It means i'd have to draw it all over again, and then scan it again, edit it again, post it again.... Too much work. Edit: Or i could just draw pants, scan it, then just past it .... hmm btw, if anyone think it's creepy, then i succeeded | 2010-03-12 23:34:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
That is one major bump lol!! Like the drawing. Background needs.... anything but I guess you knew that anyways. I liked the earthy, moody backgrounds of your previous works so maybe a gritty, dirty background to suit? I personally like the no-pants character - anything else would wreck this - great as it is. | 2010-03-13 11:46:00 Author: Rhyfelwr Posts: 606 |
yes, i will make it into a sig and ad a nice gritty background Thanks ~ | 2010-03-13 11:56:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Lol, I was joking, please don't draw him a *cough*! But I know if you did, it would be one amazing *cough*. | 2010-03-13 14:51:00 Author: Leather-Monkey Posts: 2266 |
Can you draw another one with a *cough* and put it in a spoiler? | 2010-03-13 14:55:00 Author: Doopz Posts: 5592 |
meh, it's an E-rated forum, so i won't xD | 2010-03-13 15:55:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Slightly evil yet so innocent. The fact that you drew it gives it a nice touch. | 2010-03-14 12:38:00 Author: Arctos13 Posts: 258 |
Sorry, off topic for a second, do you keep switching between your current 3D signature and the swirly whirly 2D one or am I having a mental breakdown...? On topic, Mr.Wardude rules so much , but I think I prefer the cuter one more | 2010-03-14 12:55:00 Author: Boomy Posts: 3701 |
yes i have 2 signatures at the same time! xD and thanks! I'll maybe make a cuter one later | 2010-03-14 13:11:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
