I think that LBP really needs something that will follow Sackboy perfectly without having to use pistons and prox switches I thought the best way to do this would be to have a tweakable material (or maybe just different types) that would either follow Sackboy on the X axis, Y axis or both. This material would act similar to dark matter as it floats, but because it moves about it would be easily stopped or pushed to stop it from destroying your level and to give it more functionality. One problem with this though is how would the material follow Sackboy. The best way i can think of doing this is give the material a center point depending on where you first start drawing it, but there's probably a few flaws with that. With more than one players I could see two options. 1. Give the ability to make the material follow a certain player number (1-4) 2. Make the material go as close as possible to the point where the distance to all players are equal. | 2009-06-19 19:29:00 Author: Eldrazor Posts: 78 |
