So I had this british shorthair as my favourite cat for like 6 years, he was always my best buddy (always jumped onto me, playing with me etc...) but animals get old too...and in a fight he had a wound which caused him to get Cat-Aids currently my buddy, my best best buddy is lying on the ground, not moving...we have to check him everytime if he isn't dead he doesn't have the power to come inside either, and he won't allow us to pick him up I'm gonna cry...

Sorry to hear that, I've lived with cats all my life (Mum's one of those peoples ) and had to live with two cat deaths. Not fun at all. Best wishes go out to you.

I'm so sorry to hear that. It's never easy to go through that. I've had four cats in my lifetime pass away and while they all were painful, the cat I felt was "my" buddy's passing was the hardest. I can only tell you that with time it will get better but you never completely forget them. I kept trying to remind myself that the price we pay for all that unconditional love while they are with us, is the hurt when they are gone. Hang in there and know you aren't alone in how you feel.

Don't worry dude, I know how ya feel. Currently, I've had three cat-deaths, six dog-deaths, a rabbit death, quite a few hamster deaths (must be around eight), and my one and only favourite greyhound decided to run at 40mph into a realm well unknown... ...Um...Yeah, so...Death isn't new to me. But if you want sympathy well, you have it from me. Sorry man.

Sorry to hear that. It's sad when pets go through stuff like this. Even losing pets like fishes and the like is very saddening (I'd know I've been through 4 of em&apos.

My girlfriends Cats got Cat-Aids. one of them is still alive many years later, so it might not be as bad as it sounds. fingers crossed for you and your best buddy

Im sorry to hear about your cat, i think you have to take into consideration that if your cat looks like its in pain, well you probably know what to do, you can take it to the Vet who will put the cat to sleep. I know that sounds hard but im sure you wouldnt want the cat to suffer a slow painful death. But if you dont want to do this and he looks like he isnt in pain spend time with him and make sure he is comfty. I wish you and your cat the best

Aw, that sucks. I lost my first cat. All my cats are outside cats, and my first one, after three years, just disappeared. We think she's probably dead, but someone may have stolen her!

You know someone is sad when they change their location, remove their avatar, and change their sig. I suggest that for now you take a break from us oldage, until you feel better. Mind me not, for I always do this when some's family or pet dies.....
