Assignment: Housework is a level about doing chores.... Yes. Chores. Before I can play LBP. I know I hate chores. Exerting energy is for losers. You're dropped into the level and you can't help but notice how good it looks. Tons of details and that stuff. The lighting, however is pretty bad. It's too bright. And in the shopping mall section, even though the labels look really good, it's really quite boring. The level still looks really really really good in the house, and you should determine for yourself if it's worth a play based on looks. The game play is.....bad. Boring and bad. I mean, really. All you do is jump on drawers and flip switches to turn lights on. You also drag a bag of garbage to a garbage can, pull out drawers so you can open a door, and put away clothes. Oh, and you turn off the shower. It's really really boring. While it's visually stunning, that doesn't make up for the pure boredom I experienced while playing this level. The grocery store is a little lazy, too. If you knock over all of the food and get none of it in the shopping cart, that's it. The level is unbeatable. While this didn't happen to me, the juice carton I had suddenly disappeared for some reason and then I broke the level. I mean, I was pretty far in, so I didn't want to redo it all. I had to go watch the video to make sure I didn't miss much. Fortunately, It seems all I missed was dragging a bag of groceries over a flat surface into the car, then driving it back to your house to beat the level. Don't get me wrong, this is a decent level, and if you want something good to look at, you should play this level. But if you want something to actually do, then play Nobody's Home. There's nothing that makes this level actually fun. No aliens. No knife wielding crabs. No Liam Neeson. It's just a house and a grocery store. And you drag a garbage bag near a can. I gave it 4 stars and a Slow tag I think. The detail was excellent and there were some bit of gameplay that were good, but overall it was a bit on the long and boring side. SP
