Multi-Quoting.

| Something many people don't seem to know about so i thought i'd explain. For those who don't know, multi-quote is quoting various posts at the same time. Lets say for example, you see a comment with a question and you're going to quote it and answer it, but then you see another post with a comment you agree or disagree with and want to quote and give a response to it. What many do is make 2 consecutive posts with one quote each, this of course is marked as a double-post and will probably get you in trouble. What you need to do in such cases to not double post is quite simple: 1) Choose what posts you want to quote. 2) See that little button in the lower right corner? That one with the + sign in it. Simply click it in all the posts you want to quote, this will "mark" them for muti-quote. 3) And press the "Quote" button in any post you want, and done! all your quotes will be in a single post! (Note: Pressing "Quote" in a post that's not marked for multi-quote WILL quote the post.) Hope that helps!  | 2009-06-14 18:47:00 Author: Silverleon  Posts: 6707 |
