| Hey cool. This looks like fun. Hey MM great idea to release it to the public to do a stress test on the uploading feature. It makes everyone happy, because you get to do your test, those who get in get to test it out and play it, and those who do not get to see a flood of information when it comes out due to youtube videos, bloging, and such. I want to try and create some items and contraptions and stuff and i quite a few level ideas. I want to ask you guys if i could be in the beta to help out and put stress on the system to see how far we can stretch it. I know that i will have to upload as many levels (good if i can which i think i can) as possible to the system to give it a true test and i am prepared to do so. If it an invitation beta than you may need my PSN: so here it is: RAINFIRE and yes it is all caps. So guys i hope you choose a bunch of deserving people if it is an invitation beta including myself. | I am not sure if we will hear anything. The couple betas I have had the honor to participate in had pretty severe NDA's. This probably wouldn't be any different. I would say there is a chance that it may have already started, for the small part anyway. I would love to be invited, but I am not even sure at this point if they are going to publish a special "Way to become a Sackboy Guide" that tells us a special thing we need to do to be part of this. | Yeah, they've gotta do it soon. How much time in advance do you think they need to make revisions to the game after the beta an how long the beta will last? I think there cutting it pretty close about now. As of writing this they got 40 days to get it to the stores. it probably needs a week to go gold and another 1-2 weeks to make last minute beta revisions. So we'll say they need 3 weeks extra when the betas over. That leaves them with less than 20 days to get the beta out and let testers use it for 1-2 weeks. So yeah their running out of time. | If a beta does happen, then I don't think it will change anything on the Blueray, they would have all the changes in the first patch. Burnout did that, they had the demo and beta fairly late, and the changes that needed to be made were added on in an update.
