That's a cool vid! Can't hear your voice very well at the start over the music, but the dive itself looked incredible!2009-06-13 12:21:00

How awesome. Hey how much did it cost you???

Things I want to do before I die:
Play paintball, go skydiving, go bungy jumping (did I write it right?), drive a quoter bike (same), go snowboarding and much more. I would really love to do all that stuff

Those 2 ive done before. Its funny i skydived righ before doing any bungy jumping lol (idk how it spells).

As for the cost... It was 169 US dollars plus an extra $100 for having a video. That's a group rate with $50 discount (there were 25 of us who jumped). Otherwise its $220.

Its a great experience, that you should do before you die. And its worth having a video despite coughing up $100 extra.

If only you had a little sackboy doll mounted on the back. That'd be funny. With a parachute outfit.2009-06-14 17:07:00

HAH! I just pictured that just now... I think my tandem instructor would definitely think that im weird... hahaha

My only regret when i did it was that my ears failed to pop and balance out with the air pressure, and thus my ear started hurting really bad as soon as my instructor pulled out the parachute.

Ugh! i felt like my ears were starting to bleed.. That's how painful it felt.

;_; I should have gone skydiving when I was in Australia.

Can only recommend going bungee jumping to anyone who hasn't done so, though. : )

Driving Quad through the countryside is nice too, blizzard.

Thanks man! It didnt take me very long to decide if i was gonna jump or not, it was a matter of spending $269 with video or not really hahaha..

And so i did, i have no regrets.

I hear its only $50 in California, if it is, Man! i might try and get a license. Despite the ear issue.

Australia?! My goodness, that is definitely regrettable. My sister lived there for over 10 years, and all i can say when i see her pictures is whoa! what a beautiful great country...

It would have been really awesome if you would have jumped.

Shame on you, Syroc!

Nice video dude! Man, that's awesome. If I wasn't so afraid of open heights, I would do that ANY second!

Just to think...the rushing wind going against the palm of your hands and between your fingers.

@wex: NZ is definitely the place to be for any sort of adventure, especially the Queenstown area.

Yes, it is a shame and it's even worse when you see the location...

I didn't have enough money when I was in Mission Beach (which is where the video was shot) and still had to get around half of the continent.

You guys are good. I'm such a puss that I would need to start by killing my fear of planes and THEN start to think about skydiving (probably a second fear to remove). I would also need a better salary it seems. lol

Gaaah! Great weather, very nice scenery and then.... a beach to the other side? phew!

Whats up with the "not having any Jump Suit on these skydive videos"?

Man now im a little disappointed because i wanted to jump with my clothes being visible! because i had a Super Man shirt on lol!! Darn safety policies!

Fear! Yup. I used to feel that way too about many things.. The fear of dieing could really get to ya, but there was a time in my life when i experienced many close calls and bad situations (encounter with a burglar inside my house) that, that fear kinda fades a little at a time with your experiences as a foundation.

Now, im still afraid of dieing of course, but not as much as i used to 6 years ago.

Oh! and save up

We git a helicopter up to the top of Franz Josef Glacier and done a bit of a hike across it. Its really an incredible place.

Although if glaciers is your thing check this place out... Like a whole different world...

Glaciar Perito Moreno, Argentina

My fiancee hates this vid as it shows her with massive sun blisters from snowboarding a week earlier
