I'm sorry if there's another thread for this, I couldn't find any that weren't dead. WELCOME TO THE FIRST ROUND OF THE COSTUME DECORATION CONTEST!!! THEME: ModNation Racers http://scrawlfx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/modnation-racers_2009_06-03-09_01.jpg http://scrawlfx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/modnation-racers-announced.jpg http://scrawlfx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/modnation-racers-conf-clips.jpg Can be based on any costumes from the E3 Video. Objective: To design the best sackboy before the contest closes. Rules: 1. You may use any downloadable content you would like. 2. Sackboy must be designed during the time period of this contest. (No Pre-Made Sackpeople!) 3. Must include a picture of the sackboy you designed 4. Sackboy must be decorated based upon this week's theme. 5. Each user has a limit of 2 costumes per round. 6. No usage of any Costume Tutorial levels. How are you going to judge this? By how close to the theme it follows? By coolness? Or would it be like a comparison contest, like, say, "Make you sackboy resemble Sylvester Stallone"? Just wonderin', since this already has me interested.

Come on guys! We know you are all creative and unless you want Frinkle to take all the Xp show us what you got! Unfortunately this contest doesn't have enough reputation like some of the other contests that have been going on for 4 or more times :/ I'll ask some people to contribute some great costumes

I think it's a bad idea to post the costumes before the judging. I was going to enter this, but Frinklebumper's costume was the one I was going to make, thus, I didn't. If all the costumes were kept secret until judging was over then maybe you would get a better response, if not, it's first come, first serve. Or at least it was this time round. After all, there are only a few pics to work with, and monkey butler is probably the easiest to do in LBP.

I think it's a bit hard to do costumes for a game that hasn't released yet. I know there are vids and some screen shots but I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Yeah.. possibly similar to the character contest where you pick a theme like animals, superheroes, or monsters? In other words something a bit more general than a particular movie or video game character. Just a thought..
