Howdy, My name is Memodrix, but you can call me...anything you want really. I suck at level design. for one reason really. I am distracted by the most simplistic things. What I do, however, is create all manner of stupid and semi-useful things; a "grab and release" switch, a sack-propelling walkway, a very large 2 stage cluster explosive, and somewhere i have a working trebu.....uhm....gravity powered catapult, most of which is available in my levels as prizes. i'm really interested in learning better forms of doing logical tasks than what I have managed so far, and trimming down the fat so that its less breakable is always a good idea,...but I digress. so yea, I'm here for the engineering skill.

Hi Memodrix. I'm the first to post on your thread--it's a First Group thing. Anyway, welcome to LBPC. This place is full of engineering ideas. Electrical Engineering is my career, but lately creating in LBP is my passion. I love the create tool. I have maps on my Moon with all kinds of contraptions I have been designing--still looking for real world applications though...know anyone who needs a Plasma Generator? I was here first... he's just got those nimble little pixie fingers that can fly over keyboards like, like, well... like... uh-oh! Well, this ain't good. I ran out of words ....ugs ...uf... ... *frump* Actually Gravel, I have 10 hands and 26 keyboards...no fingers though. Each keyboard has been modified to produce a unique letter of the alphabet. I place them in a circle around me, and spin my swivel chair (I like spinning my swivel chair) around while banging on them. The faster I spin, the faster I type. I'm still working on the motion sickness issue though, and occassionally I begin to feel lightheaded and dizzy, sometimes blacking out when I hit the 3G mark. Yeah...and sometimes I forget to strap myself in. That reminds me, I've got some sheetrock repairs to make this weekend.

Welcome welcome You'll find we all get a little distracted by shiny things here ;p You may want to post your objects in teh Object Showcase, so others can see your brilliant gravity powered catapult so once again, welcome to the forums... SHINY! ...was i saying something?
