I'm BSprague, and I've put a ridiculous amount of hours into LittleBigPlanet since I got it back in October. If you've heard of me before, its probably because I'm on PS3Forums fairly often. Mainly, I try to make sets of contraptions that perform complex or interesting tasks. I don't have much to show for my work, but I recently made enough progress on a Simon/Memory Game to call it playable without a wait time. It's currently locked on my published levels, but I should have it polished and fully playable soon with a jetpack so people can fly around and see how it works. I had originally made this back in February but it was very buggy and hard to finish an entire game. Someone had left a comment about how their version worked perfectly, so I tried it, and it seemed that they had perfected it long before I had. The only thing that bugged me is that it ended with a sequence that was 15 "notes" long, and judging by the mechanics of it, it would require a ridiculous amount of work and wiring to even make it 16 notes long. So I finally finished that, my first real piece of work. Currently it can support about 50 "notes" to a sequence before bugging out, but that can be expanded by simply stretching a tube. Anyway, that was way more information than anyone probably cares about from a first post, but I figured I'd register because I've found a lot of interesting and creative things on this website and I thought that I might be able to help and add to it by throwing my two cents into the mix. | 2009-06-13 03:59:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |
Welcome BSprague. First again. We are back on top...whoop! Sorry about that. Glad you found this place and have ideas to share. I like sharing...well...everything but my "Nibbles and Bits"...but that's another story...on another thread. There is so much happening on this site, that I am constantly in information-overload...the good kind though. I'll be looking for your threads, when you get them up. Check out some of the Tutorial and Suggestion threads here--they are filled with useful techniques. See you around. Rick | 2009-06-13 04:43:00 Author: RickRock_777 Posts: 1567 |

Welcome welcome Thats cool that you have been able to vastly improve on their level. Can anyone say "LBP simon tournament"? Be sure to post it in the levels showcase when you finish it! | 2009-06-13 06:08:00 Author: Burnvictim42 Posts: 3322 |

Can anyone say "LBP simon tournament"? That's a good idea, but I can see people writing down the sequence so they don't have to remember it, thus immediately removing all the fun from it. | 2009-06-13 13:16:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |
