Bummer. Well, hopefully they're just canceled with Mezco Toys and not cancelled altogether. Maybe Sony wasn't happy with the product and will look for a different toymaker... I hope.2009-06-12 23:55:00

Anyone else want Sackboy PLUSHIES?

I mean honestly, don't give me hard plastic...

Color me not surprised. It's rare that a toy business wants to risk videogames figures. And LBP isn't eactly a thunder in matter of sales so I guess they just calculated it wouldn't be much profitable.

Also, if I remember right, the price at wich they were announcing this was quite ridiculously high anyways.

Nah... plushies are too much like stuffed animals. I'm almost 40 so the only way I can get away with toys is if they are mens toys made from vinyl, metal, or ceramic.

Yeah, I checked out the mezco site last night and noticed they were gone.

Bummer, but the greater question is why?

Like I said post #6, it's most inevitably a money/rentability question.

Well that's a bit of a letdown.

I'm not sure why they cancelled em' though, I think they would have sold pretty well, as even many people who don't own LBP probably would have bought some.

you can make your own plush if you knit - my wife made me one. See the thread below:

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. It is reeeaaaaly good.
I am hoping they make a plush sackboy that can be drawn on with pen that can wash out. This way we could recreate stickers on them. What do you guys & gals think?
