I'm just started experimenting with Cogs, and I think they look really nifty so I decided that I'll use them just as decorations. Now I have all of them on free roaming bolts and 2 of them on a motor bolt. I only plan on using 8 tops. I've experimented with different variations of Cogs. Sometimes they are all the same, sometimes they are a mix. But no matter what I try, they either don't fit right or they break. Breakage is the real problem though. I have the free roaming bolts on 0 tightness BTW. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there some sort of magical combination of Cogs that work without breaking? Thanks in advance!

If the bolts aren't exactly at the center of the gears, they'll tend to push against each-other and this could cause them to break. They can also lock up and break if they're too close to each-other.

Yep. Cogs are reli unreliable becauz of the varing sizes and amount of teeth. If you wanna put them in your level i suggest you place them with a little gap inbetween each of them and put motor bolts on them. Alternitavly, if its just for decoration, make your own cogs. get a triangle of the material you want to make it from and copy and paste each of the little triangles around a circle piece of material. Hope this helped

I've heard that its actually better to make your own cogs. The MM ones tend to snap, etc. plus, they take up more thermo room. The giant "working clocks" of LBP tend to have their own cogs made.

Thanks guys. I think I'll make my own Cogs. The MM ones do indeed take up HUGE amounts of Thermo. Right now I have 1/4 of my Level finished and the Thermometer is already 60% full so I can't really afford to raise it much more on some silly decorations. I hope the ones I make work property
