New LBP PSP Lands Confirmed

Archive: 22 posts

I was watching this (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/best-psp-best-of-e3/51468) video and when it gets to LBP PSP at about 1:20, you can see a new metropolis land, ice land, and Sacboy rocketing around loops on an unknown green creature. 2009-06-12 10:45:00

Well in e3, the guys mentioned several...china was included, I remember that much. Then there's the obvious Australia, probably a Siberia thrown in I think...2009-06-12 11:49:00

Judging from the background, I'm pretty sure that the metropolis section was part of Egypt.2009-06-12 13:29:00

Oh my! When I read the title, I thought it was new "worlds", like new "planets" for levels to go on! Imagine each planet was for different level categories!

But alas, new level backgrounds on PSP! Cool!

Why would there be a crane in Egypt?
Also, I fixed the title, sorry for the confusion everyone.

Maybe the PSP port is the reason we aren't getting any level pack DLC
I mean, all of the level designer are probably spending a lot of time getting the PSP levels ready to go for when the disc ships.

It's not media molecule doing the PSP version so that wouldn't be the reason...

The video doesn't work for me...

Anyways I hope they have different themes in the PSP version.

I don't know why the video wouldn't work for you, then. Sorry.

It doesn't matter. I think I already get it anyway.

The current Wilderness IS Siberia, if you look at the Story map.

But Australia? YES.

I will definitely be getting this on day 1 as well... along with Gran Turismo.

Of course LBP will take priority.

The video's actually working for me now. Some of those new areas look quite nice. LBP PSP might be a day 1 purchase for me.2009-06-28 12:33:00

I can't have these good games coming out on portable systems. Scribblenauts and LBP Portable? Now I have to run out and buy a PSP and a DS. 2009-06-28 15:25:00

My main question still remains "in what ways if any will LBPP interact with LBP"? Is this game entirely isolated, or will it in some way enable backgrounds or the like for PSP play/construction?2009-07-05 17:49:00
