7 Weeks to kill

Hey guys I just looked at the calendar and if the Oct 21st release date is legit(for US and Canada anyways... Sorry for you guys from europe ) we have exactly 7 weeks to kill before LBP is in our hands.

I was just wondering what games you guys are going to play to make the wait feel a little shorter. Right now I'm looking forward to NHL 09 and Rock Band 2 which our coming out in the next 2 weeks. NHL 09 should kill a significant time for me anyways with the 6 on 6 Online leagues that should take sports video game trash talking to a whole new level lol.

Seriously, I never realised it was that long. I definitely need to buy a new game then. Hmm... I really have no idea.

I mean, I can't think of any killer apps that are coming out before LittleBigPlanet which is a letdown to say the least. Anyone got any suggestions? I might possibly buy SW:TFU...		2008-09-02 16:45:00

I'm getting Star Wars, then Fallout.. They should keep me fairly occupied, although September is gonna fly by.. I have geogoraphy coursework to do, which'll take about 20 hours, I have my Duke Of Edinburgh expedition which eliminates one weekend aswell, so I just have to deal with october lol.		2008-09-02 16:48:00

I was hyped for Star Wars but then I played the demo lol. It was pretty cool dont get me wrong it just feels too much like Ninja Gaiden just nowhere near as intense lol. Although thats just a matter of preference though, I know a few guys who hate the insane difficulty of Ninja Gaiden. I dont blame them either cuz theres points in that game where its just brutal but I'm a sucker for a good challenge.

And I could be wrong but i thought Fallout was slated to come out on Oct 30th... Let me know if I'm wrong cuz thats a definate pickup for me too.		2008-09-02 17:47:00

Well I am going to be getting Star Wars, and I will tell how much I love it. I think the demo does not show everythign you can do in the game and we have to remember demo's are never a great way to find out about a game.2008-09-02 21:42:00

Well... I have games to finish.

Gotta finish the campaign in Unreal Tournament 2003.
I've ordered Unreal Tournament III: Special edidtion.
I've gotta finish Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.
Gotta finish Bionic Commando Rearmed.

oh... SNAP!!!!!! My PS3 don't plays Blu-Ray-CDs anymore!!!!! Now I cant play PS3-Games!!!! It's terrible!!! And Sony really needs long to send back their items... and I got a 60GB, this needs even longer

NEVER TURN OUR PS3 OFF ABRUPTLY (By the plug/ switch at the back) WHILST PLAYING A BLU-RAY DISC(Movie)

Can't say that this is what caused it, but its a leading contributor in most cases.

Also - My PS3 fairly recently stopped ejecting the disc when I touch the button (Could be due to my PS3 skin but it did used to work) now I have to do it by the remote control all the time..

my 60gig is still going fairly strong though, hang in there buddy! 		2008-09-04 16:01:00

No Problem, how long did it you wait to get it back?
It only took about 2 days actually.
