www.ted.com is a website that hosts all the talks that go on at the annual TED conference. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and the talks hosted on this site certainly cover a huge spread. From musical performances to demoes of the latest technologies, there is a huge variety of things here, lots of which is taken further. One of which was Seadragon, demoed alongside Photosynth (yet another amazing technology), which is a common application on iPhones that acts as an atlas. I recommend this talk (search Photosynth) So, without further ado, here are my recommendations for my favourite talks: Sixth Sense (about an amazing new technology) Johnny Lee's Wii Remote Hacks (Some amazing stuff there, the technology should definitely be coupled with Natal) JJ Abrams' talk Jef Han's Touch Screen Brian Cox has a few videos too (Main LHC PR guy) So check those out, then get exploring! Yep they`re great. Usually a good half an hour long as well. Very entertaining and educational.
