-------------------------

Coming this Thursday to the PSN Store, a set of costumes, stickers and sound effects based on Team ICO’s games; Ico, and Shadow of the Colossus. Yesterday we showed off the costumes for both Ico and Yorda, which makes today the turn of Shadow of the Colossus, and the costumes of Wander, and two of the colossi Gaius and Quadratus…

Quadratus

Let?s also take a little look at the game that has inspired these costumes, one which we all love here, well except Danny actually, he?s a hater and will be punished accordingly. Oh no, wait a second, he’s changing his story, he just hasn’t played it, and so will be sent home with a copy this evening instead. That’s how we roll.

Shadow of the Colossus

Shadow of the Colossus is a game about a young man named Wander who travels across a vast expanse on horseback so he may battle sixteen beings known as colossi, in order to restore the life of a girl named Mono.
Wander travels on his horse, Agro, carrying Mono across a long bridge into the centre of the forbidden lands, where he comes to a shrine. It is here that Wander meets with a disembodied entity known as Dormin. Wander requests that Dormin returns Mono’s soul to her body, which the entity explains can be done if Wander destroys all sixteen colossi who roam various parts of this land, but warns him that this may also come with a great price.

Using a magical blade, stolen earlier from the land?s guardian, Wander sets about locating these colossi, and destroying them, with each ones demise binging him closer to his goal, but changing his physical appearance for the worse.

Darn! No music... but sound effects are a close runner-up for 'most needed thing' to spice a level up.2009-06-09 16:04:00

Definitely. They seem to be so underated.

Yep, can't wait for the sound effects - but this could have been like the monster pack
Come on Mm - less costumes and more background, music and sounds

Cool! Always cool stuff from MM, but still I don't understand the reason why they don't deliver at least one MGSPack-like every 6-8 weeks.2009-06-09 16:44:00

Because they're a lot of hard work to make xD

Now that Mm are getting more people we can expect to see a lot more large/medium DLC packs though

holy crap i didnt see the little sackboy on his arm until now lol WOAH!!

and i agree with some of you why can't they freaking make levels? to be honest we have excellent levels by geruvah and others and it didn't take them really long to make them. so in my opinion i just think they are either lazy or my favorite idea. that they start hiring more level designers (our friends who create and play LBP) and yeah just hire more people into media molecule to help them do the things that really need to be done (play create share counters, FFVII pack, etc.)

While I was hoping for a larger Team Ico pack with music, objects, and a background, I'm still excited for this. I'm really glad they are introducing more sound effects though. I wish more packs included those.2009-06-09 19:38:00

I thought it was good, but music would have made me pay for the pack in ways other than money, and the costumes could have been better, especially the colossus 3 one.2009-06-14 13:22:00
