I'm going to Download Festival, leaving Wednesday morn so I'll be out of the loop until sometime next week, depending on how long I take to recover - I'm getting too old for 5day lashes, but I'm gonna try my best Don't be sad though (lol, like anyone cares) because when I come back, I have all manner of goodies to give away including a major update in demitter technology (I've made some demitter stabiliser circuits that make it a whole lot easier to use) and various logic bits and pieces from my private collection for all you lovely folk to have a play with. Have fun gadding around without me

... It may have been better to have a different topic title. It makes it seem like you are leaving forever, and that this is a goodbye thread, which the staff here believes is just a pity gathering topic, and as such I know at least one person who got banned for that... Unless there was some hidden behind the scenes stuff, I don't know. But yeah, definitively different title XD. Anyway, have fun with whatever you've doing I suppose.

Wow, if I got banned for a misleading thread title, that would be unbelievably petty (sorry guys, but it really would). I will admit I wasn't really thinking when I put it there so never mind, it's changed now As for the lineup (http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/lineup/index.aspx), there's quite a few good bands, especially on friday and saturday. Depends what you like I s'pose, I did grow up with Nu Metal so bits of it will be a little a nostagia trip Festivals are all about the campsite anyway

I only had a proper look through the lineup today and Sunday looks lame. Nevermind I have lots and lots of beer. And beer money. I'll get through it. Anti-Piracy announcement (you should be ashamed of yourself) BBC Radio one (yay for the BEEB) will most likely have some kinda coverage, and you can listen to that all round the world for free, thanks to license payers the nation over. Not thanks to me though, I don't have a TV license

I took a look at that list, and actually there are some good ones...Penulum, KoRn, Faith No More, You Me At Six, Steadlur...Billy Talent...then on Sunday, man the Main Stage looks good! Whitesnake, ZZ TOP, AND Def Leppard! Let's get let's get let's get rocked!

Do you wanna buy my ticket off me then? I could do with the cash as I just got home from work, put on some tunes and my amp blew I'm gonna need to find about a grand to replace it when I get back. Today is a very, very sad day for me Edit - turns out blown is a wild overstatement, but it's not working, and I'm still upset. At least I won't need it for the next few days. Yeah that Sunday night lineup, not really my thing lol, which is a shame because Friday and Saturday are a bit clashy for me. Anyway, Killswitch FTW and I should probably go pack my bags
