Wardrobe room

What do you guys think about a wardrobe room in which you can work easily on your sackboy customization, and where you can dress in the preset costumes just with the pression of a single button? It's another stupid thing but it would be very simple to do and could spare time. (I like to spare some time because I really have few time to play ) | 2009-06-08 15:19:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
This is actually what I thought of when they said "Advanced Decoration Mode." I would like it if we had a room like you say where you can rotate Sackboy without things in your hand since sometimes you put things on your back that you don't want and then you have to use another player to take it off. Also, it would be nice if you can move your hand and it stays where you put it so you can sticker your hand. Or even better, it would be nice if you can hold a button and however you move your Sackboy before you let the button go is how you stay so you can sticker parts of your body better (all of this happening in the Wardrobe Room of course, not in play mode.) | 2009-06-08 15:34:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
Yes, great idea brnxblze it would be really nice, and I don't think that MM has to put a lot of effort into it. | 2009-06-08 15:45:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Uhm... I'm not really sure the point of a wardrobe room? You can change wardrobe at any time during play mode or edit mode, online or off. Simply save your costume and you can change into it any time... at the press of a button. Am I missing something here? Yeah but it's annoying you have to go into create mode to do your dressing. Just activate wardrobe mode in your pod. I think brnxblaze is talking about the fact that sticker removal tool doesn't work with the sackboy rotate. You can apply a sticker to his back, but not remove it So yeah, this hasn't been implemented at all. CAn't get the **** "kick me" sticker off my back THat would actually be a funny joke to play on someone | 2009-06-08 21:09:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

Yes but you have to have something in your hand when doing so, read my post fully to understand what I'm asking better. And yes, you can already load preset costumes by making the costume you want and going all the way to the right in the Customization part of the pop-it. At the top you should see a "save costume" button which saves the costume so you can load later. Sorry, I didn't see that the first time I read the first post. Also, just in case you didn't know this, to rotate your Sackboy you have to get a sticker or decoration in your hand and press L1 or R1. This does not work in the Pod but it works when you're playing a level or in create mode. | 2009-06-08 21:15:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
This is what i was expecting when Mm mentioned "advanced decoration mode" as well xD | 2009-06-08 22:25:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |

CAn't get the **** "kick me" sticker off my back I guess it doesn't bother me as I don't exactly spend time in my pod... it's boring in there. I'm always in edit mode, or playing so I guess I still don't see the benefit of having a separate room for creating costumes. Okay, I'm totally with you on this... now that I understand what you mean. It is a total pain in the backside, I agree. [QUOTE=brnxblze;218256]Yes but you have to have something in your hand when doing so, read my post fully to understand what I'm asking better. QUOTE] Do you mean the popit tether in your hands? As in, you can't move your arms when in sticker mode? If that's what you're referring to, I guess I see the problem. I think the bigger issue for me though, is that stickers don't "sticker" symmetrically. There's nothing I hate more than stickering one arm... and then the other, only to have the first sticker get screwed up or the sticker covers part of the head or other body parts. Now THAT'S annoying. | 2009-06-08 23:23:00 Author: Rustbukkit Posts: 1737 |

That and you always have to have a sticker or decoration in your hand. It doesn't work if you use the sticker deleting tool (forgot what its called) which is pretty stupid IMO. There's nothing I hate more than stickering one arm... and then the other, only to have the first sticker get screwed up or the sticker covers part of the head or other body parts. Now THAT'S annoying. Oh yeah, that is VERY annoying . That makes it real hard to make custom costumes. | 2009-06-09 01:11:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
I think wardrobe mode would be a good idea because I try to make costumes that has some kind decoration on the end of your sack-finger but it doesn't work out because I need to have 2 players and nobody is ever willing to help out. | 2009-06-09 02:49:00 Author: alphakal123 Posts: 5 |
Did you know you can go in your shop and click on the costumes you bought? Your sackboy will dress up automatically. . | 2009-06-09 15:08:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
The combined sticker / costume packs don't allow you to do this, so I had to save Kai as a custom one in my popit. | 2009-06-09 15:22:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
Exactly, I now you can save your costumes, but I wonder how many of you saved all the original costumes, like the Circus Director, the Bride, the Pirate, ecc...,I saved only my combinations. Then, as rtm223 said, in your store you can't dress automatically if it's a pack. | 2009-06-09 16:51:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Oh now I understand what you mean, that would be really convenient, especially when I get a new pack then I wouldn't have to find all the pieces that go together. | 2009-06-09 17:44:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
Yes, it's a stupid thing but it's just convenient. Sorry if I explain myself not properly but I'm Italian | 2009-06-09 21:35:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Heh, never appoligise to english-speaking people about the quality of your second language(s), in general we really suck. And your english is better than a lot of english-speaking peoples' english It does seem strange that there are so many full costumes available in story mode, but you can't just grab a complete one, or even better if you don't have all the parts it randomises them out for you | 2009-06-09 22:18:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

I had no idea how to get it to work, I only saw the patch notes a while back. | 2009-06-13 06:19:00 Author: sny Posts: 144 |
