Yes, 1 image is the limit. We're trying to cut back on load times, and the massive signatures are not helping (not counting the fact that they stretch the page way more than they need to).2009-06-08 01:37:00

Maybe a total size limit? I atleast want a little site counter to the side... (if I ever want to change my sig... But I'd need a bundle for the 10million views on the site counter thing... (I gave mine to phort)

You'll have to choose - the counter, or your sig.

Could we compromise and make a size limit? that's what some other forums do.2009-06-08 07:16:00

We have a size limit as well, but it only applies to each image in the sig - it isn't all-inclusive.

Sorry, guys, but this is the way it has to be - the current sigs are just getting way too big, and I'm sure you guys can manage with 1 image slot. There are bigger forums where you aren't even allowed images in your sig, so I don't think that it's a big deal.

Combine them into one image?

Combine them into one image?

I was thinking about that, but I couldn't do that. First of all, I'd need a website that has site counters that you can import an image to. Second of all, I use Avatarchange.com for my sigpic, so my sig switches randomly between my two sigs all the time, and I want it to randomly change, because I worked pretty hard on both sigs.
I guess if I combined my two sigs into one awesome sig and found a website that has site counters that you can import an image into, then that would work...
But where would I find a website like THAT?

PHP is an open-source backend web scripting language. It has a pretty good image manipulation library that would allow you to generate an image composed of a randomised picture and a counter all in one image that could be inserted into your sig. Hence Do It Yourself. Also, probably not much use to you if didn't already know that.

I wasn't being very helpful, I'm sorry

PHP does play very nicely with *nix though.
