LBP for psp

Can we get a specific area to discuss lbp for PSP? Not a new website, just a new forum area.

Since it has a separate community for the ps3 version it might be a good idea.		2009-06-07 06:14:00

Good point...only thing, that may require just about as many threads as the ps3 version, y'know, news and media, help, level showcases, etc

Kinda parallels the problems with creating a separate modnation racers section of the site...only maybe to a lesser extent, since it's still lbp, and not a different kind of game (racing)		2009-06-07 06:30:00

I'm not quite sure you'd need a whole site as I can only think of a couple of PSP-only areas and that's Level and Object Showcases - possibley recomendations.
The rest can just be bundled together.
I remember CC mentioning he was shortening the length of the site so when the PSP edition comes, we could add separeate sections.		2009-06-07 06:38:00

We actually are considering tabs - meaning, much like tabs in a browser, you could switch between LBP for PS3 and LBP for PSP dynamically. It's still a concept, but once we get a bit closer to release, we'll start working with it to see where we can get.		2009-06-07 08:08:00

Sounds like it could work like that quite well

Can't wait for LBP PSP so I can take it everywhere with me

LOL!!! i had the same argument on lbpforum
okay in my opinion there are three kinds of PSP game.

1)throw together: these are games just thrown together so people waste money on a game that they think will be great. these are usually part of a big game like ratchet and clank for example.thyre rubbish and you only play them for a day. i think this game will be like that

2)exceptional: these games are again part of a big game but instead of being rubbish the makers take the same time as a ps2 or ps3 game to make the game. these are well made.and will last for a couple of weeks

3)common:these are games made for the PSP e.g patapon. these games are also well made. they are made specificaly for the psp.

i think that LBP portable is the first kind as it didnt take them very long to make it!!		2009-06-10 18:11:00

Umm...they started working on it before lbp came out...they've been on it for a while and still have more to do before it releases...

(In case you're wondering where I got that info, I believe it was in gamespot's live E3 presentation of lbp psp when they interviewed the developers of the game and showed the 2 demo levels available at E3...link: http://e3.gamespot.com/video/6211384/?hd=1&tag=live-schedule)

Considering it has full create capabilities, ability to upload levels online and play online, I don't feel you categorized it correctly.		2009-06-10 18:36:00
