warning mgs4 spoiler i just finnish mgs4(finnaly) and for the most part i was very satisfied exsept for one thing. the fact that snake commited suiside. now I new snake would die eventualyout of not so old age or the foxdie in his blood but suiside cummon kojima way to kill a famos person. the big reson im mad though is befor i bet the game I new the basic plot story and for about a month I been working on a script for mgs5. i worked through my lunch houres at school took it home and worked with my nease crying and i delt with my class witch I think has a scream sindrome or somethin because they cant keep quiet for 5 miniuts. so I finnaly finish my script and start serching for a mailing address to send it out, i put in mgs4 finnish the game and snake commits suiside.what the beep. now im mad and ready to break my 300$ type writer that i wrote my script on **** **** ****!!!!

chill out it's just a game You said you were satisfied with most of it, so it was obviously worth buying. If you're that angry just because you didn't like the ending then i think you need a bit of a reality check - it's just a fictional story, it's not the end of the world. (no offence)

Seriously? Did you just turn off the ps3 after the screen went black and you heard a gunshot? Cuz if you did, you really screwed up and didn't get the ending.

well you people do know alot of people have a instink to stop when they see credits and yes it was dumb of me to do that but can you blame me. i seen the big boss bit the gun shot was from the patriot rifle. I watched to the end and i did not expect big boss . ya know whats wrong with writing a fan script befor i finished the game. it kept me off the ps3, it was fun and i actualy got school marks for it.

Yeah, you should have waited 5 seconds into the credits. Plus then all your items from your previous game will go into your next game.

lol, i thought he shot himself too when i first saw that, then i saw the rest XD. Tho i gotta ask, do you seriously always skip the end credits of games? If so then you've missed a lot, in these times most players know to wait for untill after the credits for an after story, preview of the sequel, or a little bonus. So if you haven't done that lately, i recommend you do since its done in many games.

Well even if he killed himself or not (in this case not), he's dead anyway. Unless MGS:Rising takes place immediately after MGS4. Which it won't. EDIT: If you skipped the credits after every other Metal Gear Solid game... oh dear... after the credits there is always a shock conversation between people that usually puts an awesome twist on the game. I thought the one in MGS4 would be mind blowing, but it just turned out to be (highlight)snake and Otacon wrapping things up pretty boringly :/

I really wish the insults weren't automatically sensored because I would have send you a full paragraph. How ignorant do you need to be to NOT figure out someone didn't play the game yet? He never committed suicide. Did you even understand the ending? The full ending as dictated by the viral podcast he died 3 months later while on vacation in the carribean. Roy campbell made sure his body was disposed off effectively as to end his genetic line. Download the integral podcasts to hear the epilogue.

It's kind of common sense to be careful with spoilers.... it's like walking out of a movie theatre and saying the ending to what you just saw. That said... the ending made me the happiest man alive because it was constantly spoiled for me but then.......... they were wrong. Apparently you're not the only one with premature evacuation.

TBH, I haven't played the game yet, will at some point and I don't feel cheated. If the ending of the story is the only significant point then the story was probably pants in the first case It's all about the journey people. But spoiler tags are there for a reason, people. Please go back and edit the original post and or title. Always wait for the credits. I normally leave them on in the background while I'm doing something else. Replay value save games, plot twists, secrets etc etc feature in almost every good game so yeah ^^what they all said^^ And if writing the script was fun etc, wtf does it matter? You still had fun with it. Unless you were arrogant enough to think that hideo kojima would have definately used your script for the sequel...
