Its awesome. Crafting a personality is awesome. You can actually set items on the diagonal plane. No basements. Each game you play is seperated now by named saved games. For example you use the same model neighborhood, but in X neighborhood I have my family, another family i started, and 6 other preset families. They all run on the same clock, at the same time, and you can play them all! It's kinda hard to explain. But I can go to Josh's house, and make him walk to chad's house. I can also tell chad what to do, all of this seamlessly with no loading. I spent two hours last night recreating my old house and my current one lol, and they look extremely close to the real ones. The absence of basements almost ruins it, since both houses should have basements.

I love this game too! I spent most of the time just making a massive mansion, and then started on my family that was a bit too big to start with (Mom, Dad, Teen, and two toddlers.) I also got it for the IPod Touch, and it is great on there. It's really amazing for an application. I'm actually off to play it right now.

Sims 3 made me stop playing Team Fortress 2 for two days, please don't hurt me. Hehe, its really good fun, but my Sim, Tubby McMuffin died a horrible, electrical death. (DARN YOU CLUMSINESS TRAIT!) I had to reload to a previous state where my house was not decorated :/

my computer sucks for games. the only way i can get this if it comes on ps3 or xbox360. Otherwise i gotta stay with sims2 pets on the ps2

I'm loving this game but it is a touch to easy. I got my career to max (CEO of company) to maximum level and got married to the hotest woman I could find in under 30 days. Thinking of burning their house down and starting again.

The past few nights I've been having wayyyy too much fun just making wild houses/mansions/beach side shacks and redetailing every stick of furniture in there. Lol I've played 20 minutes with a family, and got about 4 hours of play just making houses/custom furniture.

The gameplay is really fun, sooo much replay value. Made an evil guy XD it's so funny, everything you do is evil. "Take evil slumber" "Have quick meal fiendishly" "Evil shower" Hilarious.

Hah, I just found out that you troll forums in the Sims. I'm tempted to make a sad, angry, lonely nerd now, put him (it has to be a guy!) drab single room apartment and order pizza every day.
