Naw, my guess is that they'll be alright. There's no way in hell the federal government botches this one after what happened with Katrina.2008-09-01 21:28:00

They lucked out and the storm was not as strong as they thought it would be, the levees ended up holding which is good. The bad news is that 2 more tropical storms are building strength and headed in there direction again.2008-09-01 23:55:00

Kinda looks like Hannah is headed right for me...We're far enough off the coast that it won't hurt too much, so that's good.2008-09-02 01:20:00

WOW, seriously the hurricane ended up being less than Katrina and that is good. I am glad that we had a election in the US so the government seemed to care this time around.2008-09-03 15:14:00

Call me evil...or horrible...

But how can anyone feel sorry for people who live below sea level...
and after the first Katrina Hurricane which destroyed the area...
come back and live there...

I live where the BIG ONE(earthquake) is suppost to happen and turn California into a sweet reef...if it does, thats on me...
its not the Federal government's job to save me...
