I've seen it and I love the show. My favorite part is when they re-enact the fight at the end, it's always interesting how the team wins. Who won last night? I didn't get to see the ending.2009-06-03 15:39:00

You mean Deadliest Warrior? On Spike?

Yeah, it's pretty cool! I still think the Knight should have won against the Pirate, though.

I haven't seen it, but I've heard of it. Isn't it meant to be like the show Ninja Warrior but much more brutal?2009-06-03 21:04:00

Deadliest Warrior is a television program on Spike in which historical warriors are put against each other to see who can outlast the other. Each episode showcases two warriors in a hypothetical battle to the death

Each warrior is given weapons from the particula group they are associated with. Modern fighters and experts on said weapons present the strengths, and weaknesses of each arsenal, including real tests of the weapons. The data collected is then fed into a the weapons The data collected is then fed into a computer simulation based on an unreleased commercial game engine developed by Slitherine Strategies to determine the average winner of one Strategies to determine the average winner of one thousand battles. After the winner is determined, a mock battle takes place to showcase how each weapon is used in a real battle situation, and to determine which combatant is the "deadliest warrior"

Read more on it here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadliest_Warrior).

Basically, they take two groups of "fighters" that have never actually fought before from different times in history and test each of their weapon's "deadliness." They take the stats they've gathered, enter into a computer, and simulate 1000 battles. At the end, they show a "mock battle" that shows every weapon and also show which weapon made up for the most kills. Pretty awesome show.

i like it, but i really wish it would show more fights and much less of the two sides "trash-talking" with each other2009-06-04 02:12:00

Yeah that's one of the only annoying things about the show. The arguing really gets on my nerves.2009-06-04 02:40:00

I didn't get to see the Shaolin Monk one . My favorite one that I've seen that I can remember were either the Green Beret vs. Spetznaz or the Gladiator vs. Apache for no particular reason.2009-06-04 04:36:00
