They gave the Will Ferrell special on Discovery Channel. I don't normally watch the show but I thought I should put it on just to see what he does. This guy is hilarious even in the freezing cold . If you missed it, you should watch for reruns as I'm sure they'll give it again one of these days.

I always preferred Survivorman to Man Vs. Wild, but Will Farrell can be pretty funny, so I might check it out.

But he also hams the hell out of it. Making everything look really intense and serious when slightly off camera a bunch of bewildered locals are having no problem crossing the BOG OF NO RETURN or whatever. But Survivorman, he actually IS alone. No camera crew (he does indeed do it all himself) and no drinking your own **** (Excuse me, urine) stuff either.
