:O Yay! Hm, seems like they still have multiple planes. Makes sense. Yep. thanks! | 2009-06-03 02:14:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
Yeah, they have multiple planes, but in this video there are only 2 planes. I hope this is just this level or is being changed. | 2009-06-03 02:17:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
Wow! The physics look very sensitive in that! I was quite funny, as that guy got stuck under the boomerang, and it was quite obvious how to get out. Looks much better than I expected it to be! | 2009-06-03 02:32:00 Author: Kog Posts: 2358 |
Wow, that looks JUST like LBP!!! I wonder if they'll make the create mode as good as the one we have for LBP... I'm DEFENITELY going to save up for a PSP now... This should be on the front page!!! | 2009-06-03 02:43:00 Author: tjb0607 Posts: 1054 |

So, what does everyone want in the new LBP for PSP? I hope that they come out with a patch on the PS3 version that lets you export "PSP OK" levels. What I mean by that is that you wont be able to have as large levels on the PSP version and there will be other restrictions (less items, ect). I also hope you will be able to bring your PSP levels to the PS3. One of the main reasons I want this feature is for long car rides, I can build a contraption, then put it on my PS3! I also hope local multiplayer. Does anyone know if any PSP games have DLC. If so I hope for DLC. | 2009-06-03 03:02:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |

After playing it today @ E3 on the PSPgo, I have to be honest and say that it feels much better than the PS3 version as far as gameplay physics go. | 2009-06-03 03:36:00 Author: gevurah22 Posts: 1476 |
I can't believe how amazing that looked! I want it now!!! Luckily it'll be this year, saving up for that most definitely! | 2009-06-03 03:38:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
I don't think any levels would be compatible with only 2 planes... Wow, I said that I was hoping that there were "PSP OK" Levels that you can make on the ps3... read my post again | 2009-06-03 03:44:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
Even if not though, the limitation to 2 planes isn't so bad if it stays this true to this original otherwise, I can genuinely say I'm blown away by how good it looks! | 2009-06-03 03:46:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
OK, I updated the post with things that I could see in the video. Post anything you notice. | 2009-06-03 03:50:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
Wobble bolts, sensor switches (rewatching to catch everything) creature brains, burn dangerous tool, mag keys, motor bolts, obviously prize bubbles, checkpoints, and the guy is now stuck... Based off IGN pictures: rods, rope, magic mouths (that was in the vid too, sorry!) IGN has pictures of multiple levels, all of which seem to only have 2 planes (still, sacrificing 1 plane for this kind of quality isn't so bad!) | 2009-06-03 03:58:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Yeah, I saw some of those, like the creature brain but some of them I missed, editing now. | 2009-06-03 04:31:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
Oh, duh! The original lbp spoiler (qore) had something displayed quite prominently in the center of the screen: buttons! Quote I found from news article about lbp psp: "Imagine a whole world where you could play, explore and create whatever you like - and imagine that you could take that world with you wherever you go." So the obvious is true: create mode is in psp version...but then...it wouldn't be lbp without it, so that was as I said, obvious... Gamespot: "...the demo version on show here is plagued with some pretty excruciating load times, which appeared to be even worse on the original PSP systems than on the Go. It's still early days though, so we're hopeful that those will improve when LBP--which doesn't currently have a release date--arrives in stores and online." Playstation Blog: "Newly announced PSP exclusives like Konami?s Metal Gear: Peacewalker and Capcom?s Resident Evil will also be available in digital format, as will LittleBigPlanet when it launches this year." When it launches this year! | 2009-06-03 04:35:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |

Im thinking of getting the PSP Go when it Littlebigplanet comes out, how does it feel, any thoughts, are you getting it? | 2009-06-03 05:17:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
Looks great! Got stuck there, huh? Oh, well, can't wait for release! | 2009-06-03 05:20:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Saw the vid. Dying (from fire at least) has a new animation)! | 2009-06-03 05:21:00 Author: iiiijujube Posts: 594 |
Im thinking of getting the PSP Go when it Littlebigplanet comes out, how does it feel, any thoughts, are you getting it? It really is the premium version of the PSP. All the buttons feel way solid in comparison to the 2000/3000. It's light as heck and the placement of the buttons and screen feel really natural and intuitive. As for LBP PSP... I only found two planes. As for hand movement, it didn't seem like I could considering there is not L2/R2 or right analog. You use the left analog nub to move around. Nothing happened when I messed with the d-pad though, so facial expressions might not have been implemented in the demo. Loading times suuuuuuuuuuuuck though (off of the PSPgo). Other games did not have this issue. Again, demo version so I can't truly judge it yet. I did mention earlier that the controls of the PSP version felt less floaty than the PS3 version, which feels a lot better TBH. | 2009-06-03 05:22:00 Author: gevurah22 Posts: 1476 |
Loading time for level: Starts 0:12 ends 0:31 19 seconds for the level to load...dang | 2009-06-03 05:24:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Loading times suuuuuuuuuuuuck though (off of the PSPgo). Other games did not have this issue. Again, demo version so I can't truly judge it yet. Yeah, I read an article that said the loading times are slow and they will be fixed. | 2009-06-03 05:25:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
They will be fixed? Good! Anyways, not sure how much more info we can extract at the moment...by the way, have you made the update with buttons being in the game yet evan? That was in qore, mentioned it earlier, but after you were updating regularly. | 2009-06-03 05:34:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Oh, thanks editing now, I must have missed that when you said it. | 2009-06-03 05:36:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
Missed something else! Music Boxes! Got it from DonkeyShow's vid! ...I got no credit from Killian for all my help... That's okay...I'm just really hyped about the game! I'm not upset Killian, you're just too excited to pay attention to anything but who created the threads, it's cool! And DonkeyShow posted a vid too...he deserves a little something... | 2009-06-03 05:47:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Wow! Graphics look great, gameplay is similar - amazingly the physics seems the same as the PS3 version - and only a single plane is sacraficed for it! Cannot wait - thanks to the contributers to these | 2009-06-03 06:45:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
Actually, DonkeyShow played it and said the controls (jumping, running physics?) were BETTER...hmm...I'm so excited! | 2009-06-03 06:47:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
It feels and looks like LBP, this should be an interesting game!! The level shown was a little bland but hey, so was "first steps" 2 planes is okay though, I'm actually a little surprised its difficult to make 3 planes... | 2009-06-03 10:56:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Oh my word! That is awesome! A reason for me to get a PSP and a reason for me to spend more of my waking hours dreaming up levels, and taking even more of my time | 2009-06-03 11:23:00 Author: noddle111 Posts: 174 |
It looks really good! But the PS3 version is the one I'll be playing. I'll get this too of course. | 2009-06-03 11:49:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |

Looks good from what I can tell. I'm excited! Also, the graphics look nearly identical to the PS3 version... That's just plain awesome. Zwollie your pictures don't work. | 2009-06-03 12:34:00 Author: Recurracy Posts: 166 |

Interview with James Stepherd, Development Director of Cambridge Studios, about LBP PSP. (http://uk.playstation.com/games-media/news/articles/detail/item157756/LittleBigPlanet-PSP-interview/) | 2009-06-03 14:36:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Thanks Killian! Wasn't too important to me really, I'm just really excited for the game! Nice find Syroc! Sounds like almost everything in the ps3 version is in the psp one too! And the mention of ps3 to psp functionality--extra materials (for which, I dunno, maybe both?) That is awesome! I hope there is more to the interconnectivity though! | 2009-06-03 14:36:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Sounds pretty interesting so far. If they manage to make a way to transfer captured objects between LBP PSP and LBP PS3, this is a definite buy for me. Then again... even if it doesn't, I might just have to make a name for myself as the first person to make an LBP PSP bipedal mech. :hero: | 2009-06-03 14:58:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |
how amazing does it look. finally something new for me to put in my psp. I wasn't overly fussed about a PSP LBP until I saw that vid, shame the guy got stuck under the boomerang, would have been nice to see someone who has actually played the game play it | 2009-06-03 15:23:00 Author: groble Posts: 223 |
You know, the second vid's better...he gets stuck, but there's a reason why...it looks difficult to see where to go next by that point... | 2009-06-03 15:38:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Never mind. Just see the first post and click "See full text" which I obviously didn't. | 2009-06-03 15:45:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Umm...it has...4th vid front page...but this looks like better quality I think! By the way evanb, there are sound objects too...they're everywhere in the 4th vid! No problem syroc! Also, spikes are there too! | 2009-06-03 15:48:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Oops, thanks. | 2009-06-03 15:51:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
Oh man this is awesome looking!!! Thanks DonkeyShow for the great video and quick impressions of the game. You said that the physics feels much more smooth I wounder when this game comes out and everyone likes the feel of this game if MM will either make a patch for the original game or make a tool to edit the gravity so that the player has more control of everything. Personally I hope for the later because how cool would it be to have custom gravity in the game. Also am I reading the date wrong on that sheet because doesn't it say 12/8/09 or something which to me (U.S.A.) would be December 8, 2009. I guess my question is was that a shoot in Europe or the US. | 2009-06-03 16:37:00 Author: OverWork Posts: 873 |
Now that we know the PSP go will (alledgedly) come out before LBP, I'm not fussed about the firmware issues. I'll just buy a PSP go! | 2009-06-03 16:37:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Since I'm too lazy to read the entire thread, do you have to have a PSP Go to play this, or can you use any old PSP? | 2009-06-03 16:48:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |
Any PSP will work, there will be a UMD version and a download version. | 2009-06-03 16:52:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Looks cool, but I have to imagine that it wouldn't have the ability to handle the complicated stuff the PS3 version does, so I'm not going to buy it. I'll stick to my PS3, thank you. | 2009-06-03 17:21:00 Author: TheJollyRajah Posts: 466 |

Hmmm...let's just hope this doesn't turn into a watered-down version of PS3 LBP. I'm really looking forward to new content, worthwhile cross-gaming options, and unique features for the PSP version. | 2009-06-03 18:44:00 Author: Night Angel Posts: 1214 |

The guy talking I think was a voice actor. | 2009-06-03 20:27:00 Author: evanb Posts: 40 |
No they were talking about the link between the video game and movie, and that was the creator of the movie. It isn't Avatar the Last Airbender, it's different... | 2009-06-03 20:28:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |

That's great! But... I JUST SOLD MY PSP! That's a shame All I have to do is a) find it .........................b) dust it off for a few hours, haha | 2009-06-03 21:21:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
That looks awesome from the trailers. I hope it's just as big as PS3 version in content though. I'll be quite dissapointed if we don't get anywhere near as much content as the PS3 version. The gameplay looks very good though and I like the graphics. | 2009-06-03 21:22:00 Author: lk9988 Posts: 1077 |
That's a shame All I have to do is a) find it .........................b) dust it off for a few hours, haha A few hours? You want it to shimmer and shine from the inside-out then I presume? xD Nah I sold it to my Dad for ?50. Then all my PSP games, Heavenly Sword and Fifa 09 for the PS3 and most of my PS2 games for a trading price of ?68. So on top of my ?40 I have...Yeah, I'm kinda rich for a littlun... So is this on the new PSP system that's coming out or the current one? | 2009-06-03 21:25:00 Author: KoRnDawwg Posts: 1424 |

Someone copied my post and didnt give me any credit, I'm so angry >.< http://www.lbpforum.net/showthread.php?t=1713 Well it does say in the quote Originally posted by Evanb so It's not like he tried to claim it was he's find I know some of you have probably already seen this gamespot vid of thier show floor demo, but I watched it this morning and it's really good and shows both levels that were on show at E3 in detail and the developers talk about the game. http://e3.gamespot.com/video/6211384/ | 2009-06-07 12:00:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |
This looks promising, though it's graphics aren't very appealing to the eye in the videos, especially those little 'R' boxes. Still, it's rather exciting. | 2009-06-07 12:33:00 Author: Bear Posts: 2079 |
