Wow! The physics look very sensitive in that!

I was quite funny, as that guy got stuck under the boomerang, and it was quite obvious how to get out.

Looks much better than I expected it to be!

So, what does everyone want in the new LBP for PSP? I hope that they come out with a patch on the PS3 version that lets you export "PSP OK" levels. What I mean by that is that you wont be able to have as large levels on the PSP version and there will be other restrictions (less items, ect). I also hope you will be able to bring your PSP levels to the PS3. One of the main reasons I want this feature is for long car rides, I can build a contraption, then put it on my PS3! I also hope local multiplayer. Does anyone know if any PSP games have DLC. If so I hope for DLC.2009-06-03 03:02:00

Even if not though, the limitation to 2 planes isn't so bad if it stays this true to this original otherwise, I can genuinely say I'm blown away by how good it looks!2009-06-03 03:46:00

Wobble bolts, sensor switches (rewatching to catch everything) creature brains, burn dangerous tool, mag keys, motor bolts, obviously prize bubbles, checkpoints, and the guy is now stuck...

Based off IGN pictures: rods, rope, magic mouths (that was in the vid too, sorry!)

IGN has pictures of multiple levels, all of which seem to only have 2 planes (still, sacrificing 1 plane for this kind of quality isn't so bad!)

Oh, duh! The original lbp spoiler (qore) had something displayed quite prominently in the center of the screen: buttons!

Quote I found from news article about lbp psp:

"Imagine a whole world where you could play, explore and create whatever you like - and imagine that you could take that world with you wherever you go."

So the obvious is true: create mode is in psp version...but then...it wouldn't be lbp without it, so that was as I said, obvious...

Gamespot: "...the demo version on show here is plagued with some pretty excruciating load times, which appeared to be even worse on the original PSP systems than on the Go. It's still early days though, so we're hopeful that those will improve when LBP--which doesn't currently have a release date--arrives in stores and online."

Playstation Blog: "Newly announced PSP exclusives like Konami?s Metal Gear: Peacewalker and Capcom?s Resident Evil will also be available in digital format, as will LittleBigPlanet when it launches this year."

When it launches this year!

Im thinking of getting the PSP Go when it Littlebigplanet comes out, how does it feel, any thoughts, are you getting it?

It really is the premium version of the PSP. All the buttons feel way solid in comparison to the 2000/3000. It's light as heck and the placement of the buttons and screen feel really natural and intuitive.

As for LBP PSP... I only found two planes. As for hand movement, it didn't seem like I could considering there is not L2/R2 or right analog. You use the left analog nub to move around. Nothing happened when I messed with the d-pad though, so facial expressions might not have been implemented in the demo.

Loading times suuuuuuuuuuuuck though (off of the PSPgo). Other games did not have this issue. Again, demo version so I can't truly judge it yet.

I did mention earlier that the controls of the PSP version felt less floaty than the PS3 version, which feels a lot better TBH.

It feels and looks like LBP, this should be an interesting game!!
The level shown was a little bland but hey, so was "first steps"

2 planes is okay though, I'm actually a little surprised its difficult to make 3 planes...

Thanks Killian! Wasn't too important to me really, I'm just really excited for the game!

Nice find Syroc! Sounds like almost everything in the ps3 version is in the psp one too!

And the mention of ps3 to psp functionality--extra materials (for which, I dunno, maybe both?)

That is awesome! I hope there is more to the interconnectivity though!

Sounds pretty interesting so far. If they manage to make a way to transfer captured objects between LBP PSP and LBP PS3, this is a definite buy for me.

Then again... even if it doesn't, I might just have to make a name for myself as the first person to make an LBP PSP bipedal mech. :hero:

Oh man this is awesome looking!!! Thanks DonkeyShow for the great video and quick impressions of the game. You said that the physics feels much more smooth I wounder when this game comes out and everyone likes the feel of this game if MM will either make a patch for the original game or make a tool to edit the gravity so that the player has more control of everything. Personally I hope for the later because how cool would it be to have custom gravity in the game.

Also am I reading the date wrong on that sheet because doesn't it say 12/8/09 or something which to me (U.S.A.) would be December 8, 2009. I guess my question is was that a shoot in Europe or the US.

That looks awesome from the trailers. I hope it's just as big as PS3 version in content though. I'll be quite dissapointed if we don't get anywhere near as much content as the PS3 version. The gameplay looks very good though and I like the graphics.2009-06-03 21:22:00

A few hours? You want it to shimmer and shine from the inside-out then I presume? xD

Nah I sold it to my Dad for ?50. Then all my PSP games, Heavenly Sword and Fifa 09 for the PS3 and most of my PS2 games for a trading price of ?68. So on top of my ?40 I have...Yeah, I'm kinda rich for a littlun...

So is this on the new PSP system that's coming out or the current one?

I think I'm with evanb, I'd like a psp go lbp pack if they make one! (I'd actually be surprised if they didn't, this should be like a flagship game for the go...)2009-06-03 23:14:00

Cool! And no problem, I should've had that done in the first place...

Game is now available for preorder on Gamestop, says 12/8, but developers said November when they were talking on gamespot's live feed...

I know some of you have probably already seen this gamespot vid of thier show floor demo, but I watched it this morning and it's really good and shows both levels that were on show at E3 in detail and the developers talk about the game.

This looks promising, though it's graphics aren't very appealing to the eye in the videos, especially those little 'R' boxes.

Still, it's rather exciting.

Actually, he didn't credit me at that time. I contacted him and he then credited me.
