Uncharted 2 beta

Anyone gotten in? I should receive my key straight from sony but usually it's a little bit delayed. Sites that hand them out etc have gotten keys first in the past to put it that way. Anyways it seems we're free to discuss this beta. If I'd gotten my key any other way I wouldn't have asked but it's from sony so I asked for permission to give it away since I'm not too interested in the beta. And I was given the green light. I asked around and my real friends aren't too interested either. So I'm considering giving it away to someone who REALLY IS DYING to play the beta.2009-06-02 11:59:00

Naughty Dog is my favourite game dev ever (don't tell Mm), and I've been following Uncharted since the first one! It would mean a huge amount to me, honestly.

I'm seriously dying to play it. I was even considering buying inFamous for the beta alone, but I figured that it was unrealistic to spend ?40 on a game for a beta of another game.

Please consider letting me have the key, I'll be your biggest fan.

I loved the first one, and have been a fan of the series ever since. I'm dying to have a go at among thieves, if anyone has any spare and is willing to give me a chance to play it, please let me know! Key goes to allexbulluk and prepare to use a EU account. If you don't have one make sure you do have one or else you're probably wasting the key. The key I'm getting is one of those sent to EU betatesters so I don't know if it's going to work on a US account. I'll send it whenever I get it. That's fine, I'm in the UK myself, so I was hoping it was an EU code.
If you'd prefer, you can just send it to me via email alexbulluk@gmail.com but it's up to you. I'm not to bothered about waiting a little bit because it doesn't start 'till the middle of the night UK time, and I have school tomorrow (got Thursday off though!) so I'd probably not play it very long anyway.

Out of curiosity, how did you become a Sony beta member? I've seen them on forums but I've never seen anything on how to become one. Also, does that mean that you get access to other betas?

I get to test many games. They recruited a new bunch a year ago or so. Uncharted 2 is the only one I've encountered so far that I'm allowed to discuss.2009-06-02 22:52:00

Woohoo! I just got an e-mail saying I'm invited to the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta! I'm so excited since this is the first thing since Resistance 2 that I was invited to test (probably because I had the option to let Sony contact me off, if I had it on I maybe could've gotten into the LBP beta and wouldn't have missed out on all the limited time stuff but that's another topic.) The game looks sick. I loved the first one and I can't wait to play the second game's single player. I think CoD 4's controls has spoiled me when it comes to online games. I felt the controls wasn't as responsive as I wanted it to be in the first game and that's why I won't even bother going online on it.2009-06-03 11:53:00

The beta is on the brink of sucking. The gameplay is full of glitches, and the matchmaking is terrible. I've been on the beta for 3 hours now, and only one 10 minute deathmatch, for which most of it I was stuck in a box (glitch). If you have the patience for 1 game every few hours, and you can get past the glitches, you will like the beta.2009-06-03 19:21:00

I think the point of the Beta is to find the glitches, it's not the final version. Try reporting the glitches to Sony so something can be done about it.2009-06-03 20:04:00

I played it and I had no problems connecting to anyone, I found a match in like 2 mins. The online part of the game is really mediocre IMO. If anyone was planning to get this game for online, I would advise against it.2009-06-03 21:41:00

I agree with you on the fact that the online is mediocre. I mean the game looks beautiful but from a competitive angle the game just seems to lack. I mean the depth of field is very cool in single player I'm sure, but annoying in practice for trying to shoot someone at range, also it seems like it takes forever for a bullet to get to the person. Also it may just have been me but is there no way to run? Now I have only played 3 games for a very short time so I can't really put a real grade on the multiplayer, honestly I'm more interested in coop mode, but I have to wait a few more months for that.		2009-06-03 22:28:00

I can't wait for this to come out!

I loved the first one so much. That and LBP are what persuaded me to get a PS3 really.

I too was considering getting inFamous just for the code (posted about it on LBW)...I looked on ebay for the code too but none of them were EU ones
