This level is unspeakably good. The absolute best design I've ever seen, an incredible boss, ridiculous logic-based and naturally environmental puzzles, and fantastic looks. yeah, i found it looking for an example for area 3 in my upcoming series, i quickly send invites to a ton of people to show, sadly, ninja was the only one to show up! I gotta thank you again for showing me this level, man. I was flabbergasted. This level is so perfect that it has me wanting to use every adjective I can think of. I can bet it has three stars because of the puzzles. If someone can't beat it, they get angry then rate it 1 star. I did some of the puzzles, and enjoyed them thoroughly, but once I got to the puzzles with the broken bridge, I was stumped. The atmosphere and the whole look of the level is great, and the puzzles actually need you to think and adventure. I loved, but would love it even more if I could beat it. I loved this, it's nice to walk in a room and think, "what do I do here?", rather than walk in a room and pull the switch. My only gripe with this is that the camera angles are off in places (minor) and the level broke for me when you have to swing on the chandalier (I dropped off it to try and build momnetum then couldn't get back on). I beat it on my first try, but it was very tough. I loved it! It's great how you actually had to think when you entered a room. A really great level for sure. Everyone should try it! Cog, here's a tip: if you can't do something don't do it - ie, look around for somewhere else to go. I also really liked the boss. Stumped by bridge right now too. Love it and sadly agree the 3 stars are because of difficulty. A couple of annoying cameras but overall a real gem for anyone that "gets it". Five stars and hearted. OK! for those of you who fail at the bridge, here's what to do, (don't click if you want to do it yourself...) k, you know the roof swing that opens the door to the bridge? after you walk thru the door, fall, die, you roof swing again, when the thing is down, INSTEAD of going to the DOOR you jump down to the room with the bombs and pull one out, then just drag it all the way west/left to the staircase, and let it fall | 2009-06-01 04:39:00 Author: johnrulz77 Posts: 835 |

Flat out AWESOME level! I only had 1 place where I was stuck for a while.... a broken bridge, where if you jumped across you ended up in an area with black gas covering a checkpoint.... turned out to be a decoy direction! I've never seen that done before - trick the player into going in a direction they're not supposed to go! The animation on the boss is really sweet IMO. I thought you could really tell that the boss doesn't like what it is you are doing (surely that's not a spoiler). I don't think I've seen anything else that emotes like this in LBP. This is probably my favorite LittleBigPlanet level that I've played so far. All of the puzzles are well done, and never tedious. Everything fits really well and I never had any problems with glitches or bad level design. The boss and the ending were incredibly well done, and it left me wanting more after. oh wow didn't think there was a topic on this here (its old but oh well, i don't want to make a new thread of it if one already exists) Found it a couple days ago and loved it. Only 2 things i didn't like. 1: The part where the fireplace was, those thin layers that block your view were a pain in the butt, when we were trying to swing on that chandilier it took me and my friends almost 15 minutes to land on the right spot cause that layer was blocking our view (that and we took off the sandbags by mistake, it took us forever to put them back) and the area 1 floor above can be just as bad (even more so when the sandbags fall over and you don't know where they are cause of that blasted thin layer in the way. 2: 50% of the time something went wrong at the end. Either the checkpoint broke from the bridge you moved to the right to cross earlier, or the dragon never officialy died once you knocked him off (instead of being motionless w/o the glowng eyes, he's at a 90 degree angle still breathing fire and trying to walk), or i'd instantly get killed when grabbing the dragons weak spot. Its still fun overall and I was able to record it!
