Unfortunately, it wasn't always such a thrill to watch... its kinda like seeing all those "unnamed level"s with the graph paper background... aside from a few blurbs, and the reviews of course, it felt kind of plain. But thats really just a minor gripe, you all know we're here to listen to your fabulous accents ;p Keep up the great work, now i have to wait for episode 2 D:

I just watched most of it, and it was ok, but I think too long... Yeah, I think so too. Episode two should be about 45 minutes to an hour, but we haven't fully decided that yet. It's long because we are doing this thing only every three weeks, and Little Big Planet is a big game, from now on we will only really be covering stuff that happens between each episode. Unless something big has happened with the game, the next podcast should be smaller.

Still sleepy About the length it was mostly muscle videos and mail in that made it long so I'll be looking at how to neaten them up. The background is dull because we had to scrap something but hopefully it'll be in episode 2.

Yeah it's very good, but far too long. Instead of having one every 3 week that's so long, it would be better to split it up a bit. Even if it was recorded at the same time, you could just split it up and release each part at different times. Good work

Hey, guys, a big thanks to you for featuring Crystal Cave. ^_^ I thought it was pretty great, but agree that it was a bit on the long side. To combat this, you could always just show bits of the longer levels that you plan to feature (i.e. my level which takes like 10 minutes to play) That may cut down on the time considerably, and it would give more people an incentive to play the level because they haven't seen it all already! ^_^ Still, I thought it was good. Keep up the good work, everyone involved, and thank you again! ^_^ ps - and yes, VMethos was the one who made the waterfall in our level. Thanks for acknowledging that in your video. It upsets me when people say I made it, because I want to give credit where credit is due. ^_^

I think the biggest problem with the length was the massive amount of time we spent on Spaff's email, I guess we were just excited to receive contact from a molecule. We'll try to cut it down a bit in the future.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I don't think anyone's mentioned it yet, but we're up on iTunes now. The video had to be compressed a lot to reduce the size though, so if you're watching it on your computer than you should use the other links (ie. bliptv). But hopefully it'll be decent quality on an ipod touch or video or whatever where the screen is smaller. Also, there's an audio only version available for all those people (like me!) who have the older ipods/mp3 players without video. The audio version is also a bit shorter since you can't really have the reviews on it without the video. Enjoy! Can't wait to see all your contest submissions.

So I stol her laptop for a couple of hours. Still cant sort mine out though. If anyone knows stuff about DHCP servers and IP addresses being given to me as a 169.254.xxx.xxx instead of a 192.168.xxx.xxx then please contact me. Unless you are going to tell me that it cant give me a proper IP address so it gives me a local one. I know that. ^ That took a long time to type on my PSP. ^ EDIT: Wow... 3 mins isnt bad for that.

The main problem is, ShadowCrazy, that there are 5 rocks, and a maximum of 4 players in one level. It may be possible for short one-off videos, but the work involved syncing it up for people at separate times...

well i mean it doesnt have to be perfect, and to be honest they probably have more then one television or so....idk its on the tip of my tongue but i just cant say it but there is a way to solve this where you can have 4 people in one level and kinda have the other guy pop in every once in a while, or they could add 3 more people and just make them 2 teams where 1 team talks about certain topix and the other team the rest of the stuff, idk there has to be a way to work this out it isnt impossible and im sure you and others wouldnt complain to seein sackboys in a created radio station as opposed to that graph paper sackboy cut out that was shown at first

Cool idea. The problem for me is that my ps3 is nowhere near my computer, so I wouldn't be able to record at the same time as I'm on LBP. I think once we get our other idea working, it should satisfy the visual need hopefully. Good idea though, it's nice to get some creative suggestions

I was going to ask if there's a video version available on itunes but I can always check that tomorrow from work. btw - really excellent suggestions for improvements in the game on podcast 1 guys. Nice work. Also loved that you did call outs for xkappax's, & GrantosUK levels and the Zephir Valley and Contra levels. Also - for the Space Invaders suggestion - go play CCubbage's Splat Invaders level - granted it's not in the pod but it's as close as you can get in LBP. For the record - I found Canada on the map. (cold climate solidarity!) Not to make you embarrassed either, but I love your voices

Hi Sackcast Team. Enjoyed the show...well, the parts that I actually got to watch when not being tugged in several directions. Even though it was quite lenghty, you had some good content, and I believe the net result will benefit both Mm and the Community by bringing another level of visibility. If any of you (or a friend or volunteer) are somewhat quick at typing, maybe you could publish a transcript of each Sackcast, in outline form. Maybe 1 brief sentence or phrase on each of the individual things you discussed, in the order discussed, then post it here--i.e. Online Beta, Monster Pack DLC, mrsupercomputer video walkthrough (liked that one btw), etc., etc. I think posting this will also bring your cast greater visibility in the Community as well, which could help with the donations aspect of your endeavor. Just a thought. And I hope Sackcast is a long-running success. Rick

I do find it a bit long, I haven't seen any other podcasts but I don't think any of them go over an hour. But that's just me, I know it was the first episode and they had tons of stuff to get out there, so I understand. That's just my two cents, but I loved every second of it to be honest.

Well since this is exam time for me study leave is rife in the school so I may be able to pop on for an hour during the day but unlike others I do actually revise Transcripts: no way am I typing up all of that lol Podcast length: We'll work on shortening it but I can assure you there are other podcasts which are much longer and we don't go off on a tangent really, we try to stay on topic just for a bit too long is all Also the long term aim of the sackcast is a realistic one I feel. If we become popular enough we can turn the tide against H4H levels; we can't stop H4H but we can make levels worth playing get noticed. We also plan to do muscle like reviews in between episodes. Also not sure if it's been said but we have our prizes now confirmed (THANKS SPAFF ) which are the plastic sackboys which MM seem to be giving out nowadays.

Just checking - the video isn't working on my ipod. I have a generation 5 model and I can get the audio no problem but no video. Is it meant to be viewed only on itunes or is it in a format only viewable by newer model ipods?

I believe it is supposed to work on an ipod. Are you sure you put the video version on your ipod? I'll let Dan know (if he doesn't see this first ). Hopefully it's an easy fix!

Hmm, a lot of people seem to be having this problem. Looks like it only works on the iPod touch. I'll try upload a mov version instead of MP4. I'll post back in this thread when its done.
