The most important thing is that it is much easier with less players. If you have multiple players, and one dies they will respawn at the checkpoint and the camera angle will zoom out. There is even a chance that the player ahead will go out of range and also have to respawn. I reccomend either just taking your time over it or, if you keep on failing, there is a section where you can grab onto the ceiling and can continue running on it if you time running right and skip a large part of it.
