Mmm hey there, I'm some kind of Swedish person, very Swedish. Even live in Sweden and everything. Thought it was a good time to get a ps3. So I got one with a couple of games I hardly even play nowadays. LBP is a rather interesting game. Say, is there a faq on how the rating system works? I mean people seem pretty desperate about getting hearted and all that, so if anyone would kindly explain... or I mean kindly point me in the right direction! That'd be great! Anyway yeah you guys, I was kind of looking at this place and people looked all friendly so hey why not.

Well hey hey hey Are you, by any chance, from Sweden? Rating system faqs... well, basically, people want to be hearted so much because it makes them feel better. One of those useless stats. Or so.

welcome welcome Here, have a peanut! The in game rating system is sort of how people feel about the level... but its really not all that acurate because there are a fair amount of people out there who don't rate consistantly (ie: give 1 stars to levels they like and 5 to those they hate). Hearts are a way of saving the level as one of your favorites... kinda like a page bookmark on the internet. They're also used to get the Create Trophy, so people get kinda crazy on getting them =/

Welcome! Your story reminds me of me and my girlfriend.. well, except for the being Swedish part! We got the PS3 to play Blu-ray movies. Well... that WAS the plan. That is until we decided to get a few games with the PS3. One of those was LBP..and we still haven't really played the other two. ..nor have we played that many movies since we got the game! ..again welcome!

Welcome! There are a few threads about how the cool pages work (do a search for "cool pages" and they should pop up. There are also a few threads discussing theories on how the heart and ratings seem to work with players. I think OCK had a really phenomenal thread about that. Just search through the threads he started and you'll see it. It has a TON of posts in it.
