Same exact way, Ryan! I was incredibly pumped for this to come out - now, I don't care. The Creature Creator REALLY disappointed me.2008-09-01 03:49:00

^Hey i was the same as you guys. I Saw it 3 years ago, all hyped up, Played the Creature Creator and hated it, I'm not even getting it anymore. Mainly because so many games are coming out for the PS3 in the fall.2008-09-01 04:35:00

the creature creator is only one small part of the bigger greater game, some of the creatures did suck on the creator some were just awesome too, just my opinion though.2008-09-01 04:46:00

It's not that i think it will be a bad game or anything. I'm just not hyped up for it. I may still buy it as it will probably still be real good fun. But meh... whatever with Spore lol. LBP just takes the place of awesomeness.2008-09-01 04:51:00

yeah spore is great and i really really want it but am very sad because i can not i tried to download the creature creator but when i opened and tried to install it it said my computer did not meat the minimum system requirements :starts to cry again: so i looked in to it and found out in the read me file that it did not support my exact chip set for video and that i do not have enough VRAM :sobs: and when i looked in to it and because i have an apple computer (YAY!) the video cards are a lot more expensive =( and over $140 for a like 60 dollar game so if i actually went forward with it then i would end up buying the game for like $200 :starts to brake out in uncontrollable sobing: if any of you know where i can find cheap video cards that work with Mac Books and that you know would work with the game Spore it would be a great help (you can find all the ones that work on the site and just search for minimum system requirements or look at the read me if you want to download the free trial of the creature creator)
PLEASE HELP

Cheers! =)

:starts to sob uncontrollably: i am so very sad and really want the game but i could use my dads computer but he does not have an intel core duo in his so it will not run on his either and the cheapest route would be to go and get the vid card, my best bet i think would be to go to the mac store or some electronic store such as Frys and ask the people there and see if they can help.
i hope i will be able to do this and get a good vid card.

I was 100% sure I'd buy spore when it was announced and for long since. However, it's released so close to LBP now that I don't see the point of buying it. LBP is everything I wanted Spore to be and more. I won't touch spore after LBP is released, so why bother? Maybe I'll buy it when I need a distraction from LBP, if I don't have enough already.2008-09-02 00:11:00

From what I read, the creature creator was just a way to populate the worlds when the actual game came out. They now have over 3million creatures for each players world. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I definitely need something to distract me until LBP. This will be it. I want to take my little microbe and become a galactic god.

I think he just wanted it to look more realistic really. Not so cartoony.

your right ry. not so much more realistic but grittier textures etc. would make it so much better. i still haven't played the game yet so i'll probably change my mind when i get my hands on it.

from what i remember the first few screens i saw did look more realistic then they went the more cartoony way, maybe because of EA pressure to make it more accessible to all ages.

Argh!!!!!
i found out that for me to actually get Spore i would have to pay somwhere around $176 for it, one i found out that i can not change my videocard, 2 instead i need the full edition of Windows XP Home Edition and that costs about $100 !!!!!!!! so right now i am kinda sad because every ounce of hope for this game for me is utterly lost and i can not run the trial creature creator either :starts to cry: excuse me, i need to leave

Cheers!
