Archive: 16 posts

I got really bored so I decided to make a really complicated object in LBP. It took hours to make and is VERY complicated. Check it out online!!

EDIT: People kept asking for more details. What it does is follow the button you press, it wouldn't be very useful for anything. I just made it for fun.

What it does is follow the button you press, it wouldn't be very useful for anything unless I change the Grab Switches to Magnetic Key switches... I just made it for fun.

Actually, it is pretty easy to take apart without detaching anything, most of it in there is connected by Dark Matter, rather than connected to the base.

So...you press a button...and the whole device moves to follow that button around the room?2009-05-31 15:30:00

No, you press a button on the machine, and a little square connected to the machine by a piston goes right over to the button you press.

Yeah, I guess it's kinda pointless... I'll change the Grab switches to magnetic key switches real soon...

if you're about to be decapitated, all you need is a button follower!!! :hero:2009-06-06 14:30:00

if the square that moves had a key on it you could use it for a multifunction toggle? like for example i made a view screen that you can change channels on by moving a pistoned key to certain points via 3-way switch. it sounds like this tool would be a more precise channel changer.2009-06-11 15:38:00

I could make a seperate channel changer, this button follower isn't very accurate and a channel changer wouldn't be so hard to make...
