2D + 3D Guitar Design

Archive: 7 posts

Ok, so I decided to make an almost exact version of my guitar on Powerpoint.

2D version-

3D version-

Yes- those images were made 100% in Microsoft Powerpoint. I made them with a lot of autoshapes, lines, fills and 2 textures. Any feedback?

EDIT: Here is an image of the actual guitar so you can see the similarities:

^ It doesn't have a whammy attatched but whatever

EDIT 2: This picture looks a bit more like the one I designed: (although it isn't the same type as mine)

Thanks, I'm actually better at Powerpoint than GIMP. I find that the layer/ grouping system and the fill effects are very easy to get used to.

I'll put this in a sig soon maybe.

Nice! That looks like something I would do!
But powerpoint??? Hmm... I would recommend Inkscape (http://inkscape.org/). It's nice and easy to use.
