I have recently made a myspace for the band i am in, and now we have two songs we have written uploaded. They are both pretty rough, early versions recorded on my phone, but i hope they are ok. The URL for our page is www.myspace.com/blindingaddiction feel free to check it out, add us and leave comments! Thanks, maiden | 2009-05-27 21:40:00 Author: Unknown User |
Sounds good, can't tell that much from the quality, but sounds pretty good. What role are you filling for this band? Are you a guitarist or what? | 2009-05-27 21:47:00 Author: olit123 Posts: 1341 |
Thanks =] Yeah guitarist - mainly rhythm, especially in these songs, but generally we just play what we write - if i write a solo, i play it, if Hassan (other guitarist) writes one, he plays it etc... And that was on my phone, we have a Sony mic on the way, next practice is on the 14th after my GCSE's, so better versions will be up then =] | 2009-05-27 22:01:00 Author: Unknown User |
I listened to the song on your page, and I have to say I really like the overall sound of it, but tbh, the vocals were lacking (in my opinion), but it may have been more due to quality than the fault of your singer. But that being said, you have potential, and should invest in making a Facebook and Twitter account for the band. | 2009-05-28 00:25:00 Author: Code1337 Posts: 3476 |

Thanks =] And yeah, i think it is the quality mainly, it was on my phone, and also because he had to strain to be heard a bit because he only has a 10w amp, for those recordings the rest of us were using 30w and the drums are acoustic, so he had to shout/strain his voice a bit more than usual.... I'll make a twitter for us, by a facebook profile, do you mean a separate profile or a group on facebook? | 2009-05-28 10:20:00 Author: Unknown User |

I should have clarified that a bit more. | 2009-05-28 12:50:00 Author: Code1337 Posts: 3476 |
We had a group made, but you couldn't add music to it, so i have re-made it. we had 54 people on the other one, but that was it.... | 2009-05-28 13:33:00 Author: Unknown User |
Just for the record - i believe the mic we have bought is a condenser mic, will that be ok for recording us all spearatley? | 2009-05-29 23:30:00 Author: Unknown User |
I'm sorry to say this: You guys aren't as good as Tool. Don't worry. Tool is the best band ever ever and it isn't your fault at all. No amount of practice and dedication could make you better than Tool. | 2009-05-31 23:12:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
