Wild West

Archive: 3 posts

Hi all.

I first started playing LBP a couple of months ago, and I've decided to redesign my first (and only) level. Currently its a Wild West themed level, which starts off with a plastic soldier screaming "Help its the Raider" and running away, which then triggers a bunch of houses behind the player to explode. There's then some electrified stone with platforms to ride over, and then a short cliff and a vehicle on the top that rides you down almost to the end.

Its quite short, and I don't really have any clue what to do with it...does anyone have any inspirational ideas?

Hi LordDaem and welcome to the best LBP forum in the universe. Have a peanut ( Sorry to whoever is now the peanutmeister but I've been wanting to say that for ages ).

I love anything Wild West themed and have an old Wild West level myself which I made when i knew very little about creating. I'm still quite proud of my train in it though.

I'll take a look at your level asap and then I can give you some feedback on what's there so far and any ideas I may have as to what to add. Your description doesn't really sound very 'Wild Westy' however so I'm hoping it is when I play it.

If you want to do F4F on this I have a new level out called Arabian Adventure.

I'll go take a look at yours and report back later.

BTW is your psn the same as here ?

Yes my PSN is LordDaem. And its not really a very Wild West theme at the moment, which is why I'm asking for ideas on here.

I had an idea of including a gold mine, with lots of explosions as you are "chased" by an angry prospector/miner.
