Blue Moon Guild Part 2

I have finally posted up the 2nd installment of my storyline series. Again, the stage is designed for one player and is storyline driven. If you have not played part 1 or the prologue I HIGHLY recommend it as I do not go over old gimmicks in the current stage. Please enjoy and all feedback is welcome.

The level is called Blue Heaven Guild Ch 2: The Warped Manor. You can find it most easily via my psn which is Laharlsama

I was REALLY enjoying this, and I got into the garden... the giant spider dropped down all the way to the ground, spit something on me and killed me.... and I was respawned behind the spiders leg and totally trapped. I was stuck and had to exit.

Also, in the room with the music I had jumped up to grab the star to exit the room and didn't end up teleporting, then grabbed it again and it just said "retry" and the game was over. So I think in that instance I broke the teleport back out of the room.

One other thing... with the change in Yarg where if you turn off collecting community objects it won't collect your trigger stickers, I would give them a message at the beginning telling them to turn it on or the game won't work.

That's it for now... let me know if you get at least the game breaking one fixed and I'll give it another shot. VERY cool design.

I couldnt get the music room teleporter to malfunction for myself, so I was unable to address your issue there. The only recommendation I can make is that if a teleporter misses you, wait a moment before attempting again.

I moved the spawn point slightly to right, although I am not sure how you ended up stuck before...it is my stage so perhaps I simply knew it to well. Moving it to the right should make exiting the spawn point easier for all though.

I added the comment about having sticker collecting on as well. Thank you for your comments and I hope you enjoy the rest of the stage.

Just a note in case it helps - in the music room I jumped to grab the star to exit instead of just walking up to it.... so it's possible I was ABOVE the thing that you use to kill me. If this is true, simply having some invisible material above to prevent this would work... but I haven't retested to verify.


Edit - got through the whole thing this time. Killer game, man! Reminded me of a classic adventure game. The maze was fantastic - especially the camera angles you chose to use... you pushed the camera in and gave the player this weird spinning feeling wondering where they were going to end up, and the gameplay in there wasn't frustrating at all - it felt completely doable.

Once you moved over the checkpoint under the spider a bit I realized why I had a problem before.... since the checkpoint was behind the spider before I didn't realize I had to jump forward, so I thought I was stuck. So, the better visibility you give the player while they're in the checkpoint pod here the better. Or have it so they don't have to jump forward so they don't feel stuck.

5 star and hearted. This level may not be everyones cup of tea, but to me this level is fantastic.
