How about a level in which you move the scoreboard away so you can progress further?

that'd be pretty cool You could split the level into sections with each one getting progressively harder, and give them the option to continue or end the level with their current score and maybe have a forced restart or something if you die to make choosing to continue a gamble

I think that would work really well if done right. You could make puzzles such as having to move the scoreboard to the right area by pistons or such, and other cool stuff could be done.

That would be fun Or kinda like a race, where you catch up with the scoreboard and it runs away and you have to get around obstacles to catch up to it again

I've already made a level where the scoreboard runs away from you. It's called midnight run. It's an ok level that I put together in about 4 or 5 hours.

You could always "demit" the scoreboard at each point as well. so it just vanishes. Therefore you wouldn't have to move the scoreboard using pistons and could remove the restictions implied by physically moving it. (demitting is phrase i invented where you emmit a previously emmitted object outside of the playable area)

In the first level I made (LBPS) you work as a delivery worker delivering a huge box, and at the very end it's revealed that the scoreboard was in the box the whole time... it's not a great level, but I thought it was clever.

That would be fun Or kinda like a race, where you catch up with the scoreboard and it runs away and you have to get around obstacles to catch up to it again That was one of the first ideas I wrote down for LBP, preceded only by "Putting objects into slots that are the same shape/colors!!" Which I thought was hands down the best idea of all time.
