Hello everyone! I was referred to LBP and LBP Central by CCubbage. He's actually my boss in real life and has been begging me to get LBP for months now. I must say that it's a fantastic game and I can't wait to start playing the tons insanely creative games made by the talented authors out there. So far I've only played a few of CCubbage's games and a little bit of the main story. Cheers to Media Molecule for putting out such an awesome game! | 2009-05-21 16:28:00 Author: Y2Josh23 Posts: 10 |
Wow, Cabbage is a boss? Scary. And welcome. Don't expect a peanut. | 2009-05-21 16:31:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |

Welcome to the forum. Now come on, spill the beans! Whats he like as a boss? | 2009-05-21 16:43:00 Author: wexfordian Posts: 1904 |
Well, well....interesting! He has been kind enough to correct my bad forum behavior before so I think I know what kind of boss he is... Really he is a very nice person! Glad you gave in to his requests and bought the game and joined the site. Lots of excellent designers here who are always willing to help. This site is a great resource for everything LBP. Glad to have you aboard! | 2009-05-21 16:56:00 Author: AJnKnox Posts: 518 |
Welcome! Glad to have another fan aboard! CCubbage is awesome on LBPC so I can only assume he's awesome as a boss too. Have fun! | 2009-05-21 18:03:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Welcome to the forum. Now come on, spill the beans! Whats he like as a boss? LOL...he's as obnoxious as he is on the forums, j/k. He's a good, down-to-earth guy and fun to work with. One thing is for sure, he loves creatingplaying levels in LBP and talking about it. I think I've become at least 25% less productive since he got LBP | 2009-05-21 18:17:00 Author: Y2Josh23 Posts: 10 |
Hmm...well as long as he's fine with it, sounds cool! And by the way, welcome! | 2009-05-21 18:19:00 Author: Theap Pleman Posts: 670 |
Does Mr Cabbage look anything like his avatar? | 2009-05-21 18:21:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Cool, this seems becoming quite a tight-knit community, but we still love the newbs! Welcome. | 2009-05-21 18:35:00 Author: Walter-Kovacs Posts: 542 |

Does Mr Cabbage look anything like his avatar? It's pretty close. He has green eyes in real life. | 2009-05-21 18:47:00 Author: Y2Josh23 Posts: 10 |
His avatar appears to have grey eyes. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Something fishy is going on. | 2009-05-21 18:50:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Welcome Josh! See? That wasn't so bad... now you get to play all of our great games, AND you get to keep your job! Awesome! I should have read the fine print on my job description where it says that "Owning Little Big Planet is a requirement to keep this job". I must have missed that tidbit. No matter, I'm safe now | 2009-05-21 18:50:00 Author: Y2Josh23 Posts: 10 |
Awesome! I should have read the fine print on my job description where it says that "Owning Little Big Planet is a requirement to keep this job". I must have missed that tidbit. How often does he sing Mary Poppins songs at work? The man`s obsessed. | 2009-05-21 19:08:00 Author: Matt 82 Posts: 1096 |
LOL! I wish my boss was as understanding about my LBP addiction. Well, I want everyone around me to be addicted also so I don't feel so alone. It's kind of like being a crack addict.... The cool thing is, he should be more productive at work now because he can just "play" the stuff instead of me having to sit in his office for hours at a time trying to explain it to him. Therefore, owning LBP is now a requirement for my dev team, since it raises productivity at work. You see, since no one has ever learned how to control me, we have to invent ways for people to work AROUND me. | 2009-05-21 19:09:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
LOL Ccubbage! I would totally want to get people to do that for me, and it looks like I'm well on the way (convinced my friend to get a PS3 - addiction comes from then!) | 2009-05-21 19:11:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
How often does he sing Mary Poppins songs at work? The man`s obsessed. You have me mistaken with yourself - YOU have a Mary Poppins fixation, whereas "I" am a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang fan (the one with "Richard" Van Dyke... not the one you watch). Back on topic - Josh is a great guy, and an extremely hardcore gamer that than whoops tail on anyone he plays in online games. | 2009-05-21 19:53:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
lol, you avoided saying A$$ and yet you fell at the hurdle of saying **** Van Dyke as opposed to Richard Van Dyke Anyways, for the final time - Welcome! | 2009-05-21 20:03:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
Welcome to the forums, Y2Josh23!! I suggest you stick around......I mean it, or you might not be able to pay your bills this month. | 2009-05-21 20:16:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Welcome to the forums, you should fit in quite nicely. I only say that because you seem sane. How does one do that after meeting CCubbage? | 2009-05-21 21:06:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |
Back on topic - Josh is a great guy, and an extremely hardcore gamer that than whoops tail on anyone he plays in online games. Oh geez...the expectations are through the roof now. He was exaggerating big time guys, don't believe him! | 2009-05-21 21:07:00 Author: Y2Josh23 Posts: 10 |
Welcome to the forums, you should fit in quite nicely. I only say that because you seem sane. How does one do that after meeting CCubbage? So, let me ask you a question Mr. Whaaaaaaaal.... Do you think I am so glib as to not understand how to read white text, but yet Josh has no problem whatsoever? Sanity is subjective. Josh played "Too Human" 10 times. | 2009-05-21 21:15:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |

Now you can be on LBPC at work and get away with it! No more frantically needing to minimize and quickly popping-up a page of meaningless HTML jibber-jabber when the boss comes around! No more making excuses of why your mind is elsewhere during meetings! No more anxious listening for authoritative footsteps creeping toward your office! And best of all, something to talk about during company briefings, wow, and a great source of inside jokes! Become an employee of a respectable Mod today! LBPC cannot be held responsible for any damages/frights/awkwardness incurred when seeing your boss' sackboy after hours or finding him stuck in a questionable position on a community level Welcome! | 2009-05-22 10:58:00 Author: noddle111 Posts: 174 |

Awesome! I should have read the fine print on my job description where it says that "Owning Little Big Planet is a requirement to keep this job". I must have missed that tidbit. No matter, I'm safe now Hello all! Well CCubbage used his bossly powers and convinced (coerced?) another employee to buy a PS3 just to play LBP. You know with the economy as it is one must do what one can to keep the boss happy. His mission is now complete. Every employee in his department now has a PS3 and a copy of Little Big Planet. He assures me that with LBP I will have no need to buy any other games for it - much to Sony's dissapointment. I certainly hope thats true. It was hard enough to justify to the wife (and myself) that I need a 3rd game console! I have heard A LOT about you all. Let's just say I already recognize many screen names and have a long list of levels already that I seem mandated to play! Only had the PS3 hooked up for a couple of hours. So far only comment on the game is that I was annoyed I had to go through as much of the story part as I did to start playing all the user created levels. That and I officially suck at shooting Splat Invaders. Guess I will be a busy bee this weekend playing catch up. Looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about! I really, really don't think anyone wants to drink your "happy juice" wex. . LOL!!!! That just gave me new meaning to Splat Invaders for some reason. | 2009-09-11 14:14:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
LOL!!!! That just gave me new meaning to Splat Invaders for some reason. This place is scary!!! | 2009-09-11 14:20:00 Author: btrabucco Posts: 8 |
Ahh, so that accounts for the 999% increase in PS3 sales (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=16166) last week. CCubbage has been bullying his employees again. Welcome to the forums! | 2009-09-11 15:15:00 Author: Killian Posts: 2575 |
Good lord.... I leave for an hour or so and look what happens? For the record, btrabucco is not only an employee but has known me since we were 13 years old. In Splat Invaders, he thought up the "Hillary Clinton" room and the "Monitors with pictures of aliens on them" room. (even provided all the pictures). But yeah, Bob - you should have started your own thread. It's not like at work where you can just pile your own stuff on top of Josh's desk. | 2009-09-11 15:33:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
But yeah, Bob - you should have started your own thread. It's not like at work where you can just pile your own stuff on top of Josh's desk. Nah! This is much more about "Charles made me buy it!" then it is "Hi, I'm new to the forum!". I think it fits this thread perfectly! | 2009-09-11 15:46:00 Author: btrabucco Posts: 8 |
Nah! This is much more about "Charles made me buy it!" then it is "Hi, I'm new to the forum!". I think it fits this thread perfectly! Ok... in that case, here's what REALLY happened: I bought the GOTY edition of LittleBigPlanet.... and brought my old copy in yesterday and plopped it on Bob's desk and gave it to him for free.... Of course, he didn't have a PS3 so having a copy of LittleBigPlanet forced him to go out and buy a PS3 so he could use it for something other than as a frizby. I have never forced anybody to buy anything for me, except maybe lunch.... | 2009-09-11 15:53:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |

Cabbage, you'll be knocking on people's doors soon enough handing them leaflets and spreading the word of Mm. I think you deserve a crown for your services to Sackboy. | 2009-09-11 16:20:00 Author: Matt 82 Posts: 1096 |
I just think everyone should be able to have the joy of playing Splat Invaders in the comfort of their own home. Is that so bad? I gotta get plays somehow. | 2009-09-11 16:23:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |

Woah... So... Sir Cub gives an employee an old copy of LBP for 'free'. Then said employee has to spend hundreds of dollars/pounds/jelly beans on a PS3 to play it? I see capitalism is alive and well. Jolly good show, sirs. Welcome to those who've arrived, through coersion, derision, or whether they were really looking for Britney.com. I had on my desk all day a video game I could not play. This caused extreme mental trauma. He used a tactic he knew would work on me. I had no choice but to submit... You've been on the edge with buying a PS3 for some time now. Charles just pushed you over that edge with a failsafe tactic. Resistance was futile. | 2009-09-11 17:25:00 Author: Y2Josh23 Posts: 10 |
