http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/atlus-bringing-demons-souls-to-us Just wanted to bring people's attention to this game! It's an action combat RPG style game, sort of a dungeon crawler but in terms of actual gameplay it has more in line with Oblivion than Diablo... sort of. It's kind of hard to explain exactly what the game is like without seeing it. It has a robust combat system with a great emphasis on blocking and dodging, looks great graphics-wise IMO (though it has some pretty laugh-inducing physics when you run over a body) and... it's punishingly difficult, at least at the start. I've read about it quite a bit and it seems that while the game is hard and there's no denying that, once you get used to the combat system it's actually not so bad. It also has HUGE bosses, literally SOTC size (well close to it anyway, the size of the first colossus at least) but there's no climbing and finding weak spots to take them down. I've been interested in the game for ages but never got round to importing it. I will certainly be buying it now! The Eurogamer review (they gave it a 9) (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/demons-souls-review) has a lot of those details for people who are interested and it's well written. RPGfan also reviewed the import (http://www.rpgfan.com/reviews/Demons_Souls/index.html) and gave it an 84/100. I really think more people should give this a chance.

I'm getting this soon, probably importing it though. If it comes to america in fall (october?) New Zealand will be waiting to Jan-Feb at least :S

Man, if it had boss fights like SOTC, this would be my most favorite-est game EVAR!!!1!!one! Seriously though, I'm really pumped Atlus decided to pick this one up, this plus WKC = me finally having some decent RPG's to play on my PS3.

Been playing this over the last week or so and it's great. My only qualm with the game is that the lock on system doesn't always work how you want it to. It's good that more people will have the chance to enjoy it.

Now that looks like my Diablo feel translated into next-gen. I will probably buy that when it comes out (even if didn't touch my Elder Scrolls IV so far...) .

Got this on Tuesday, shipped one day after buying. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME. You should definately import this, it's worth it, and that way you will be pro by the time the little kids in the states get it and start complaining!! NEW ZEALAND IS NOT AUSTRALIA!!!!!

Demon's Souls Video Game, Mechanics Walkthrough | Game Trailers & Videos | GameTrailers.com New video, showing new gameplay you probably haven't seen before including a bow & arrow, multiple new enemies and a new environment. Has a voice-over by some PR guy whose job is to "sell" the game. Does a pretty good job .
