Can You Survive 'The Unknown'? Cog's What Happens Next Story

| Now, don't get this mixed up with the Choose Your Own Adventure (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=9033) thread, as this is slightly the same, but with my own twist. In this version, you guys don't create a new paragraph after choosing what happens, that's my job. You guys choose what happens next, then I write... well, what happens next. This will allow the story to be a bit more realistic, and not as random. The story is based in the same time as that in my story; The Unknown (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10083), but it does not have the same characters, or the same basic plot. This will be a whole new adventure, that could change at anytime due to your actions. Now, this story is supposed to be slightly realistic, and so the main thing you want to do is STAY ALIVE! That is the whole purpose of the story. RULES Logical Choices: You want to survive, so try to make the smartest choices. Sometimes you'll have to think pretty hard about the Pros and Cons of the situation. No Hogging The Posts: Other people will want to play, so don't post after every new part! Don't Guess: If you have no idea what you will chose, ask me! I will answer some of the questions, as long as they have to do with the question, and are not about the outcome of an answer. Patience: I have to write the story, so don't get impatient telling me to write the next part! I have other things to do! Ok, here's the first part: You wake up, dazed, orange and yellow colors dance in front of you. You blink your eyes, and your vision clears, revealing the massive flames burning. Scared, you look around. You are in some sort of helicopter. Trying to get up you notice a pair of handcuffs around your wrists, attaching you to a piece of metal. To you left is a body, it has a badge on it's chest. As you stare at the bloodied man, you notice something shine in his pocket. A key! As try to shift over to it, you hear a noise. Something was moving outside of the helicopter. What do you do? Try to call for help, hoping it is someone to rescue you? Reach into the mans pocket and try to grab the key? | stay still and wait for what happens next... nice twist btw Lol, you are good! Exactly what I was wanting people to choose! You stay still, trying to act as if dead. Slowly, in the corner of your eye, you see a shadow. The shadow quickly turns into a face, the face of a horribly disfigured creature. Trying to hold back your fright, you remain still. The creature sniffs the air, and after finding nothing, it takes it's head out of the helicopter, and walks off. You stay still until the footsteps are gone. You shuffle over to the corpse, and painfully grab the key out of the mans pocket. You fumble with it, until you have it right. You put it into the lock, and twist, their is a click, and the cuffs open. You stand and and rub your wrists. You stare into the flames, almost mesmerized by them, but quickly snap out of it, and run out of the helicopter. Outside you find yourself in a massive forest. You look around you, and notice a light piercing through the trees. What do you do? Run the other way, making sure that light is out of view? Try to find the creature you saw before, and follow it? | Not what I would have chosen, but it will do! Curiosity overwhelms you, and you run towards the light. As you get closer it gets brighter, until you are almost blinded. You stop and cover your eyes. As you do you can hear a noise, slowly getting louder until it is was perfectly clear. It was an alarm of some sort. Coming from somewhere near the light, the plants and bushes start to shake, and you can hear footsteps running. What do you do? Wait for whatever is, hoping it is rescue? | Smart choice! Worried, you jump into a nearby bush, and lay down. Slowly you peak out of the bush, just enough to stay hidden. You stay there, staring towards the light, until finally you see several figures dash towards you. You quickly pull your head back into the bush, and stay perfectly still. You hear their footsteps slow until they stop all together. You wait, hoping they will just pass you, but instead you hear voices. They are too far away to hear, but you can make out one word; "Kill." What do you do? Jump out of the bush, and try to grab one of the figures? Get out of the bush in surrender? I was going to make a new story, but then I would have to make numerous characters.
