Hi guys.. I've got lbp for a while and love creating levels I have already created some (you should check them out ), but i've got 1 problem: I am desperate for a good idea... I'm looking for one for a while now, but just nothing enters my head.. You guys have any suggestions or something for me to get some ideas? That would be really helpful

That would be really helpful Generally I draw ideas from my own experiences, things I like, things I think are funny, things I've read... a level is going to be a lot better if you have a passion for the subject matter. For instance, I enjoy classic arcade games, so I try to incorporate those elements into my games. Pop culture seems to be a great thing to base level content on, since a lot of people will relate to it.

I get loads of inspiration from TV shows, games and such, so you should try looking into those to get some ideas. Other people's levels on LBP also give me lots of inspiration and ideas, but make sure not to actually copy the person's idea. Also, just look into stuff you like. They're likely to give you a lot of ideas.

You got to take a break if you're out of ideas. Keep thinking, look around - and read a lot! It's very good to read as this stimulates your brain into thinking of ideas Good Luck

The best way i find to get ideas is to look at things that interest you, browse these forums, or play other peoples levels. You'll be surprised at what random things inspire you to make levels! (i have an 80%ish complete level based around a toilet someone gave me )

Take a break, it always works for me. You'll be doing something quite ordinary and the idea will pop into your head.

watch the extras on a pixar dvd. listening to how the folks there think, inspired me to make Eddy Mitter.
