Paintbucket Tool

Archive: 8 posts

Hi all,

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but wouldn't it be cool to have a paintbucket tool in LBP?
(a paintbucket tool would paint a selected material in a solid color which you could select from a palette).
The only way to do that now is to use stickers with solid colors (which is a bit clumsy) and besides that, it has a nasty annoying bug :-(
(if you use a big sticker and place a complex obstacle in front of it, it starts to flicker )

IDK if thats been suggested before (not an old enough member to be sure ;p) but thats a great idea actually I know i like to sticker a lot of my materials (particularly dissolve) to change their looks, and that would be a great and easy way to do it without blowing up those color squares we're given.2009-05-19 17:41:00

Oh, sorry had no idea it was suggested before.

if we would be able to select colors from a palette this would really help to give our levels an own and unique look.
(I sticker just about anything in my levels )

... i said i didnt know if it had been suggested lol. A pallette would be nice, kinda like how you can press square with the gas tool to pick a color.2009-05-19 18:26:00

I definitely agree. it is so annoying having to get out stickers to paint stuff.

Maybe another idea is a paintbrush to paint in detail.

In all very good idea, i really hope that MM will make this tool.

I like this idea too, and it's a tool that should be released into the game. It could save a lot of time and energy in create mode. Although I guess for now, we'll just have to use stickers.2009-05-24 14:34:00
